Amazing food! Even better service! I found this lil place on my Monday morning run around while working. I grabbed the almond butter toast as well as a cappuccino w/their season special snickerdoodle. A tad chilly this morning so the gave me a blanket and set the fire! Perfect morning cup of Joe and some wonderful breakfast. There is outside seating only and a drive thru. Small friendly staff that serves everything with a grateful smile! Very cute coffee spot! Highly recommend!

I saw this coffee shop on TikTok, so I visited today. It's a very small place, but they have a drive through, which is super convenient for grabbing a quick coffee. I ordered a birthday cake latte and was sadly disappointed. If it didn't have whipped cream and sprinkles, I would have had no idea what flavor I ordered. It was extremely watered down too. The employees were friendly, but I wouldn't visit again for the coffee.

My friend suggested we pick up lunch from here and it was the perfect choice for an easy picnic in the park. The avocado stuffed with smoked salmon is my fave. That plus the caprese toast I got was just enough to make me full but not stuffed. As someone who is hypersensitive to caffeine, I'm happy to discover a place with yummy caffeine-free options! I got the Golden Maple Latte which was one of the best turmeric drinks I've tried, but I preferred the sweetness of my friend's Beet Root Latte--and how cute and pink! The staff was friendly and great about answering our questions/checking on ingredients for allergens, and we waited less than 10 minutes for our order. They do have some nice, covered picnic tables outside for dining on-site. Only suggestion is it'd be great to have a small side dish of fresh fruit on the menu!

Stumbled upon this little local gem. 10/10! The avocado toast was so delicious, especially if you love everything but the bagel seasoning! YUM! My husband also loved his egg and sausage sandwich. All ingredients were fresh and service was friendly and quick. Lots of options on the menu! The drive thru concept is also great, because if you're in the mood for a quick healthy bite, it's perfect for that! They also have a cute little outdoor area for sitting if you prefer to eat there. All around great place and can't wait to come back.

Wow! The food here is amazing. I appreciate that there are wellness lattes that don't have coffee. The menu items are so creative! You can get so many unique toasts and even a stuffed avocado. The staff was great at answering questions and managing accomodations. There isn't a traditional dining area. There is a small bit of seating in the front of the building. The food is packaged well, so great to grab and go have a picnic in one of the local parks.

Lived in st Pete for 6 years now - best coffee hands down !! Love the vibe of this place and the food is fresh and a lot is homemade ! So happy I found this place. (Please never get rid of the cake batter iced latte)

I got the med toast and an iced snickerdoodle latte. The toast was so fresh and flavorful. It could not have been better. The lattes are always great! I've tried a few different ones. Some are very unique too. I loved it and will absolutely be back regularly.

Went here and it was adorable. The vibe outside was very cute and the birthday cake latte tasted delicious. Also the barista was super sweet and funny

What an amazing and adorable coffee shop with a killer kitchen!!! Wow!!!! Okay, so Pineapple Espresso has been on my list for ages but I just hadn't gotten around to going. It was a beautiful Sunday morning, the chilliest so far this year, so it felt like the perfect opportunity to grab snacks in the drive thru and head to Flora Wylie Park. The seasonal options spoke to me, so I ordered the maple lavender butterfly peaflower matcha concoction and the brussels & bacon toast. Both were 5/5, hands down! The matcha was sweet but not too sweet to finish and the toast was PERFECT, NO NOTES. Local bread, local micro greens, nice layer of ricotta with delicious toppings. I truly could not get enough of this thing and I'll need to go back for another soon. The folks who brought out my items were so friendly, and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they were doing. It put me in such a good mood on my solo self care morning!

3 words: Maple. Lavender. Matcha!!! Such a cute little spot that was once a farm store. The service is always friendly and personable. Laurene's definitely got it going on around here. The stuffed avocados are to die for, the smoked salmon is fresh and the vibes are incredible

This used to be my favorite coffee shop until they took away the Cardamom Rose latte. I was very upset finding out it's gone. I decided to try the Maple Ginger Matcha Latte and it doesn't taste like maple or ginger. It just tastes like a sugary drink. Very disappointed. I don't think I will be coming back here unless they readd the cardamom rose back to the menu.

We stopped in on a football Sunday after seeing fried chicken on the menu, and decided to stay because our bartender, Saja, and our server, Sam, were both so friendly and attentive. These days, it's easy to spend a lot dining out and not feel like you received much in return but Social Roost was reasonably priced, and the portions were very generous. I ordered the Chicken Milanese and highly recommend adding a side of angel hair pasta. (which was a recommendation from Sam) Unlike a traditional Milanese, this version comes with a caper beurre blanc sauce. Even though it was listed on the menu, I wasn't expecting so much delicious sauce, and the pasta was perfect for soaking it all up. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffle was huge and delicious, topped with two very large chicken cutlets and served with syrup and bacon jam butter. He was extremely happy with his choice! The cocktails are on the pricier side, as they are at most places now, but both were very good. We tried the Pinkies Up and the Garden of Eden. I'd only recommend the Pinkies Up if you enjoy peach-forward drinks. Overall, Social Roost has a very cool, elegant and sexy vibe. We would absolutely recommend it especially for a date night in downtown St. Pete!

Honestly, not impressed with the food, especially for the price. The chicken Samosa were OK, but the Thai salad was really disappointing. It sounded really good in the description, but it was really hard to eat out of the bowl and it basically was just a big thing of lettuce with steak on top With a couple slices of green apple. The chicken pot pie was probably the best thing that we ordered. We did not have a cocktail although I've heard their drinks are really good. It's definitely a cute vibe inside.

It wasn't very busy when we went, but it did take a little while for them to get the table ready. The decor is definitely one of my favorite things about this place. It really feels like a library and restaurant combined, with books everywhere and the dining area downstairs. It's such a cute and cozy setting for lunch. I ordered the crispy chicken Cobb salad. It was refreshing and overall pretty good, but honestly, nothing too special in my opinion. The fried chicken wasn't as crispy as I expected and was a little dry, so I definitely needed some water with it. My husband got the club sandwich, and I actually really liked his! It was yummy and refreshing, but again, nothing that completely wowed us. For drinks, I got a glass of house wine which was really good, and my husband got an Old Fashioned. There were so many mosquitoes and flies in the restaurant, unfortunately Overall, we had a nice experience and really enjoyed the atmosphere, but considering the prices, I expected the food to be a little more impressive. I'm not sure if we would come back just for the food, but it's definitely a cute spot to check out if you're looking for a nice lunch with a unique atmosphere!

The tomatoes were excellent, still a little firm and not soggy, with just the right amount of crisp on the coating. The wings had a nice hot-and-sweet buffalo glaze, and the truffle fries were so good we ended up ordering a second round. The kids went with sandwiches. The Triple Smashburger was massive, towering height, though I'll note the patties were thicker than a traditional smash burger. The crispy chicken sandwich was excellent -- moist and crispy in every bite, and we upgraded to hot honey on the waiter's recommendation, which was a great call. I like that you can select from an assortment of proteins and bases for salads and bowls, allowing you to customize your order. The food was tasty. The cons were just too numerous for me. 1. The parking lots is chaotic, at best, as Cali is the corner unit of a grocery store plaza. If you are familiar with Florida parking lots, this is a textbook nightmare. 2. The service was horrendous. The hostess saw a half empty restaurant and told us our group of 5 would have a 10 minute wait. She was determined to give us a round table, but the couple who were occupying it, were lingering long past cashing out their check. We offered to sit elsewhere, and was told that it was a no. The tables were bolted to the floor and we should just wait. Finally, we convinced her to let us pull up a chair at a vacant table outside, to make 5 and she reluctantly agreed. Once seated outside, the table was bare, as the seating is on the plaza sidewalk. So, it's bare minimum - chairs and tables. Anything you need to eat- silverware, napkins, salt & pepper, must be brought from inside. Our waitress was working tables both inside and out, so we were overlooked. She would make an appearance to drop off menus, then take off for 10 minutes. She would return to do take our order and quickly disappear. It was frustrating ti have to ask for napkins, more drinks, the checks. There was no flow, no consideration for seated diners. The food was tasty with fair size portions. But, the experience made me feel like I was the one waiting the table. My friends suggested the Cali in Tampa as the better option. I'll pass.
