I cancelled my appointment with my original doctor to go to them instead but they kept giving me the run around. They literally kept changing my appointment saying the doctor had an emergency come up. Each time I had to reschedule with my own clients to make arrangements. Each time I adjusted my schedule for his emergency, they would call again to reschedule. Now my original doctor doesn't have any availability until February 23, which is a week after the specific event I needed this procedure for. Ugh. I am annoyed. I was lucky enough to be able to attend their grand opening party and was able to score some great offers on some of their treatments. I took the plunge and got myself a couple of syringes of fillers, which is something I have been wanting to do for a little while. I talked to one of their nurses, Deborah, a nurse practitioner in fact, and she told me exactly what I needed to buy. I booked my appointment for a couple a weeks later. She suggested that it would be a good idea to schedule it on a time where I didn't have any major events coming up in the event that I would bruise. I appreciated that because I never would've thought of it. On the day of my appointment is so happens that Deborah was the one who would do the treatment on my face. I came in exactly on time and had to fill out some papers of course. The receptionist was very nice and attentive she took me to a room to the side where she offered to make me some tea while I filled out my paperwork. Because I am me, I brought a friend to witness my shenanigans. She was also shown to the room and offered a cup of tea is well. Deborah came in and greeted me and was very patient and waited for me to fill my paperwork. She then took me to a room and applied numbing cream to the area and sent me on my way to wait 20 minutes. That, if anything told me that it would not be as painless as I hoped it would be. Once she started, she explained what she was going to do and told me exactly what each of the syringes were supposed to do, and how the whole process would go about. She was very thorough and very patient with me. For some reason I kept getting dizzy and nauseous and every once in a while I would ask her to take a small break. She even gave me a couple of cookies in case my sugar was acting up. This happened once before when I donated blood so it is possible, She did not rush me at all. I didn't feel pressured or that I was taking up her time. In fact she told me that I could take as long as I needed, which I really appreciate it. The whole process is not as painful as I thought it would be. There is pain involved, yes, if you have no tolerance for pain it might be very uncomfortable. I do have high tolerance for pain and some applications hurt more than others and in certain parts as well. And I am not going to lie it is a little freaky when you can hear the bone squishing or the liquid going in. It is a very weird sensation and hard to explain. I think Deborah did an excellent job. I can see the bags I had under my eyes greatly diminished, and the area a little fuller. I only got fillers on my cheekbone and under eye area, so I could get rid of the "tired look" and it did exactly that. It is not so noticeable that it would look weird or like I had something done. Which I could care less, hence I am writing this review but some people might. I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place and come back for more treatments in the future.

However, what I received was far from what was promised. When I arrived, I had just come from the gym, and no one even offered me water. I asked for a coffee, and it was never brought. I was left waiting for the PA ( Tyana), and when she finally arrived, I honestly felt like I had more knowledge about the treatment than she did. No one offered me a robe or a chance to change out of my sweaty clothes. I was placed on a bed for about two hours without even a pillow under my knees, and now I'm dealing with back pain because of it. The most upsetting part is that I ended up paying for a full-face Ultherapy treatment, but they only worked on my jawline and slightly touched my eyebrows. That is NOT a full-face treatment. When I called to complain, the manager, Margarita, insisted they were completely right and claimed that what I received was "full face." After speaking with my plastic surgeon, I confirmed that a true full-face Ultherapy treatment should include cheeks, forehead, jawline, and chin. What makes this even worse is the inconsistency. First, they strongly insisted that I pay for and receive a full-face treatment. I even sent photos showing that they were wrong. Then, in an email, they suddenly stated they would refund me $180 because I only received a lower face treatment. Now I am even more confused, so which is it? Is it really acceptable to charge $1,470 for just a jawline treatment? This contradiction only confirms that they misrepresented the service from the beginning. Overall, this place is extremely unprofessional, not only in the service itself but in how they handle a dissatisfied client. I felt deceived, dismissed, and poorly treated. I would not recommend this place to anyone considering Ultherapy. Be very careful with their promotions; they are misleading and not trustworthy.
