The Venue at Werner Park Apartments

The Venue at Werner Park Apartments

Lived at the Venue at Werner Park for two years and loved it. Apartments are well taken care of and…read moresurrounding areas are clean. Staff was amazing and they seemed to know everyone by name, including the pets! Very pet friendly and even have a few events throughout the year to include them. There was room to walk and let our dogs run. Pets do need to be on a leash inside the apartment complex, but we took our dogs for a walk and let them run in the fields next door. Maintenance staff was always fast to respond to notifications. Move in and move out process was painless. The apartment complex was a walking distance away from the baseball field which was a plus. Depending on where you were located in the apartment complex you could enjoy fireworks from the field right on your patio.

I've rented in NYC, LA, and SF, and I can say this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had…read more I submitted a rental application and paid $185, then had to jump through hoops to figure out what was going on with my application, including waiting on hold for OVER AN HOUR to speak to someone. Then, I found out there had been numerous mistakes in the processing. After speaking to the leasing office, they agreed to refund me immediately for the inconvenience, then proceeded to mail the refund to the wrong address and did not respond to subsequent emails. I had no choice but to file a dispute with my bank, wasting even more of my time. I am very unhappy with this firm. There are much better options in Omaha. Skip this one!

Sometimes you need a blessing to come along when you need it most. I had been looking for awhile…read morefor a new place to start over again after a rough personal time period. I can't express the joy that has come in knowing I found the exact apartment community and apartment that I was looking for! I couldn't imagine a better value in town than what I was blessed to receive. The community's amenities are off the charts....salt water swimming pool, exercise room, game room, an awesome clubhouse, and community events regularly going on....it feels more like a resort than an apartment complex! On top of that....a really cool staff to work with...especially Alison! She makes working with management super easy! Then the apartment itself....I have to say I was blown away by the quality of the apartment....freshly painted and carpet looks brand new and the whole apartment overall being in great shape with a great layout. It totally exceeded my expectations. I couldn't be more happy to be apart of the Tuscany Apartment Community! I recommend this to anyone looking for a fresh start with a lot of chance for social interaction. It was exactly what I needed!

This apartment complex is owned by Seldin!!!!! They try to block you from using any kind of rental…read moreassistance. There are two lovely office employees, but there is one who works in the office who is snotty. They were horrible when trying to deal with noise complaints. I dealt with an immediate roach problem from a neighboring apartment, noisy neighbors, a broken thermostat, and that's just to begin with. I would highly recommend skipping this apartment complex!!!!

THIS PLACE IS TRASH. Do not move. I could write paragraphs and paragraphs about how bad this place…read moreis and you know what, I will. Loud. You will hear Bob next door yelling at his girlfriend that he is not drinking to much. Tell management and they look at you like its your problem not mine figure it out. Terrible Management. They will gouge you for everything possible and are rude. Also they let anyone and I mean anyone move into this place. The trashiest humans alive will be your neighbors. Dogs barking all the time. Apartments smell like piss and shi* Management never in the office and seem to have the intelligence of a lizard when you are finally talking to them, this is your job lady, stop looking at me when I tell you my washing machine is broken ( because it's over 10 years old) like do you have 3 brain cells to rub together. Call up your maintence person and have them fix it? Why am I having to come see your for over 2 weeks and it is not fixed? Expensive for size. Apartments are tiny. Super old. Not updated. Smell like shi*. Windows drafty. Walls are as thin as tissue paper. No parking Dents and cracked windows everywhere. Siding hanging of roofs. Tree branches falling onto cars during storms. Flooding basement apartments. Squirrels living in the attics. Dead animals in walk ways. What are we talking about here. Never move here if you value your sanity Run away or spend $1400 a month for a sh*thole

Well, since I've officially moved out and have no ties to this place, I will say this: DO NOT LIVE…read moreHERE. The staff, namely Jordan, Jerry (maintenance), and once Heather are AMAZING; and would go to the ends of the earth for you, if they could. The complex itself? Leaves a LOT to be desired. It's old, dark, paper thin, over priced for the age, no parking for people who live here let alone guests, and scammy (in particular, the pet DNA). Let me explain: I DO pick up my dogs doo, always have and am a huge advocate in doing so. I even had different color bags to denote they're his, so they can't say I don't. Apparently, Lund is in the business of taking packaged dog doo, opening the bags, spending time to take a sample of dog doo IN A BAG, sending it to a company, coming back with results that aren't conclusive but based on "reason", and charging their tenants $100-$400. 5th time, you're evicted. Never-mind the dog doo that ISNT in a bag, littered all over the complex. Charge THOSE people not people who do diligence, and as requested. Yes, I kindly reminded the front office of such. It's well over $900 for a 2 bedroom that has never been updated (phase 1), and if you want new blinds, apparently that institutes an extra cost to the resident, at a ridiculous amount. If you live garden level, IT WILL FLOOD and RUIN YOUR FURNITURE. Took me over a year, with mold, warped dry wall, hundreds of dollars in furniture repair, an odor, new gutters, and going over Victoria's head to get anything done. You will hear EVERYTHING; neighbors, hallway noise, the slamming of the secure entrance doors that rattle pictures on the way, and best of luck if you have a neighbor below you who is Lady Cravits and complains; while her dog literally howls for four hours, every day. The hallway carpets desperately need cleaning. They reek of weed and animal urine (assuming it is animal urine), and random items from residents; or guests. Their "quiet hours" mean nothing, as most folks in the complex are young, with domestic violence issues, and feel the need to work them out at 11pm in the hallway no less. DO NOT LIVE HERE. So glad Ruth left the office and Rico needs to go.
