If I were to review Admiral Cleaners based on the last transaction, which was my first with them, it would not be good, BUT that is not the case. The service was ahead of schedule, the quality was OK but the saving grace is their corporate customer service. Whitney sent an email asking about just asking about our experience and I was very honest with her. I received a follow-up phone call asking questions and then a sincere apology and asking how it could be made better. I told her my thoughts and she assured me they would be addressed. We don't do much dry cleaning anymore, but I will go back again and give them another try. read more

Just moved to St. Michaels from Hoboken, NJ. (Oddly, no cleaners in St. Michaels). Admiral came up on a Google search. I was surprised at the cost. Laundered shirts were $4.00+ and a single wool skirt was dry cleaned for $15. Didn't pay nearly this much in Hoboken which is expensive. In fact, it's the first service we've engaged that has increased in price rather than decreased. The work was done well, but the price is outrageous. We'll shop around. read more

I would never use this dry cleaners again. I had multiple issues several years ago. Started using Talbot cleaners and I am very happy. There was a holiday hours limit for my normal cleaners so I decided to give admiral another shot. This would prove to be a massive mistake. I drop off on Saturday, specifically started it was needed for Tuesday morning. I returned Tuesday morning to pick up $230 worth of dry cleaning but all of the pants to all the suits were missing. I was then told they were in Annapolis 1 hour away because they kept them for additional cleaning. I was not given a phone call that the pants would be kept additional time when I stated it was extremely important I had them Tuesday morning as we are leaving for Virginia and cannot return for them. I called several phone numbers and was not able to reach someone higher up to resolve the issue for an hour. I was called back and basically I needed to resolve my own problem and drive to Annapolis to pick up the pants myself. These clothing are work attire for my husband and we were working in Virginia that week so we had no option but to pay our assistant to drive to Annapolis pick up the dry cleaning then go to Virginia. I spent a decent of amount of money paying my assistant to work when she was off, gas and bring an additional car to Virginia to deliver the pants because admiral we're incapable of communicating properly. I was told I would receive a refund but when it wasn't refunded I called to see why this wasn't done. I was told they were only refunding the pants not the entire order. Once again, admiral cleaners either lied or cannot communicate correctly. The amount of money I had to pay to get my husband's pants so he could work was ridiculous. I am completely disappointed in the service and attempt to resolve issue which none was made as I had to make all the efforts and spend additional money to get the pants.
