When I picked the bathrobe up today the stains were still there. I showed them to the same counterperson, and she said that it was a discoloration of the fabric. The biggest upside was that it was practically empty--even on a weekend midday--which made it easy to find available machines and take my time. However, the facility itself is very dated and could really use a major upgrade. Cleanliness was also a concern; while not filthy, it was far from spotless. I had to scout around a bit to find the cleanest machines available. Another downside: the prices. I paid around $8 just to use a 30 lb front-loading washer, which adds up fast--especially for families with multiple loads. At that rate, regular visits would come close to the cost of a brand-new washer over time. All things considered, it worked in a pinch. I'd return if I absolutely had to, but here's hoping my at-home washer stays in good working order.

Whitney sent an email asking about just asking about our experience and I was very honest with her. I received a follow-up phone call asking questions and then a sincere apology and asking how it could be made better. I told her my thoughts and she assured me they would be addressed. We don't do much dry cleaning anymore, but I will go back again and give them another try.
