BEWARE: do not do business with this entity. I needed both of my motors replaced and I took 3 bids…read more I spoke with a representative named David. He quoted me $19,300. Which was about the same as the other 2 bids. He assured me that they have replaced multiple motors and was confident his bid included everything. If there was any surprises he would notify me. It was 2 days before completion and I spoke with David and he said "everything was within budget and there wasn't any surprises". Then 2 days later I got the final bill and it was $23,772.35. I called the office to inquire about the overages. I was told that they would not release the boat until the bill was paid in full and they would start charging me $55.00/day for storage and sell the boat in 30 days to recover the repair bill. WOW! What a way of doing business. It is just fair that this type of conduct needs to be brought to the public's attention so they don't have a similar experience! Look elsewhere!

I respectfully paid them their charge to fix and then I go to pick the boat up and they have drug my trailer jack and scrapped the jack to where you have to kill yourself to crank it. I get the jack retracted and they offer to give me a new one at cost. Not even split the cost of one when they actually should have replaced it. I have been using Jeff at Isle of Palms for Mercury service for years. He has always been the best…read moremost trained and honest service outlet in the Jacksonville area. So I'm getting ready for the annual keys trip and 1 motor gets power and beeps but doesn't turn over. Paul the service manager helps me over the phone with easy things to check (batteries fuses etc) but still can't get it to turn over. So I try to get an appointment before I leave in less than 2 weeks the first opening is past Memorial Day weekend after we leave so Paul say let me see if Jeff will call you at the end of the day. Sure enough Jeff calls and walks me through some self diagnostic and we trace the yellow red wire back to the key switch. It had a break. Jeff waited on the phone until I confirmed the engine would turn over. These guys are the best.
