I recently had the pleasure of working with John and his team on a full kitchen renovation, and the…read moreresults have absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the very first consultation to the final finishing touches, John was not only the lead on the project but also wore multiple hats as the designer, general contractor, and master craftsman. His level of dedication and skill at every stage was both rare and remarkable. What truly sets John apart is his proactive approach and clear communication. He kept me fully informed throughout the process, always offering creative solutions and thoughtful suggestions that elevated the overall design. His eye for detail, paired with his craftsmanship, transformed my kitchen into a space that's not only functional but truly beautiful. Equally important, John was incredibly fair and transparent--qualities that are just as valuable as the technical skills. It's clear he takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares about delivering a top-tier experience. If you're considering a renovation and want someone who brings passion, talent, and integrity to the table, I can't recommend John highly enough. My kitchen is now the heart of my home--and it's all thanks to his outstanding vision and execution. I put a few before and after photos below.

Johnanthony Fiorilli, of JA Kitchen and Bath, completely renovated our "powder room", our two…read morebathrooms, and our kitchen. These rooms were demolished "to the studs" and completely rebuilt. We were very pleased with the work he and his colleagues did, have asked him to do other work on our house, and recommend him strongly. Johnanthony brings to his work excellent building skills, great intelligence and creativity, perseverance, honesty, kindness, and friendliness--and a fine sense of humor, an important asset in dealing with the frustrations of renovation work. And there were a lot of frustrations on our jobs. Our house was not well designed, and many shortcuts were taken in its construction. Being a kitchen-and-bath-renovation general contractor is a very difficult profession, as you're constantly fitting new wiring, plumbing, appliances, and other work--all the fundamental systems that make a house work--into an existing structure, rather than being able to "start fresh". In our case, the difficulty was increased by the "inherited" problems in our house. And we had problems with delays and incorrect shipments from suppliers, and we caused some problems by changing our minds about some things. Throughout all of this, Johnanthony worked hard and thoughtfully to solve problems, to figure out new ways of doing things as the structure of the house required initial plans to be modified. When problems came up, he worked with us to solve them. When we had warranty issues--bad finish jobs on a couple of our cabinet doors--he made sure that the vendor replaced them, and installed the new ones at no cost to us. Johnanthony was very consultative with us and made it clear that our happiness with our new rooms was his highest priority. We felt that Johnanthony's pricing was fair, and he was very clear about his billing process. We felt that he was completely honest.

His team did impeccable work and always cleaned up every day. They made a job that's usually stressful into a fun experience - I actually looked forward to seeing them. All Bath was extremely patient (I can be indecisive when it comes to renovations!), professional, knowledgeable, on time and always responsive. I love that it's a family business that's been around for a long time and will always be there. They've seen it all. My neighbors are happy as well.

I have been picking up pieces of the grout almost every day. They have sent a tech out several times to fix it, but I still have the issue. They sent a tech out on 12/6/17 to fix the grout and put a floor sealer down. They fixed the grout but did not put the sealer down. Five days later I was picking up pieces of grout again. When I notified them of the situation and asked them to schedule some one to fix the floor correctly. The response was they were unable to send some one out because they were too busy. This response demonstrated poor customer service and a lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this company.

They have a blog on cabinet ratings - incredibly helpful. I got a bid from a Northern California contractor that uses a local cabinet supplier/importer. Those cabinets were in my budget but didn't meet the quality criteria listed in the article. This article also listed ratings for more than 50 brands, including ones that they don't use. My other contractor offered two manufacturers in the blog at competitive prices. The brands this company uses to design kitchens for their clients were rated best. There's no benefit for this business to rate brands they don't sell. But the information in this article helps so many people. If this business gives articles like this to the public, I am sure they will provide top notch service to their customers.

He listened to our priorities, concerns, and talked through all of our questions. I also greatly appreciated that he communicated equally with both me and my husband - this was very important to me as I found other businesses had a tendency to address only to my husband by default. Paul helped us brainstorm creative ideas for redesigning our kitchen space and provided a lot of helpful advice and customer education. Paul was patient, communicative, and timely. He also linked us with an experienced contractor who made our kitchen a reality. We're incredibly happy with the result of our renovation and would not hesitate to worth with Paul and Main Line Kitchen Design again.

When I called the manufacturer they said they couldn't help me because I wasn't a distributor. I looked for local distributors and found Hunter Kitchen & Bath in Bryn Mawr, PA. I was afraid that they wouldn't give me the time of day since I wasn't ordering kitchen cabinets or bathtubs or sinks, but just a replacement key. I was REALLY pleasantly surprised when I spoke with Chad, who couldn't have been nicer, friendlier or more helpful!! EVEN FOR JUST A KEY! He took the time to look up the Hafale catalogue and found the item I needed and agreed to order it and have it sent to my house at no charge. I can't wait to do business with him and his company as soon as I need to redecorate.

Review: Hunter Kitchen and Bath…read more I'm sad to review this contractor with a one star review. I met with Chad Hunter (owner of Hunter kitchen and bath, Bryn Mawr PA) to renovate my small 6-by-9-foot bathroom. No plumbing had to be relocated, no shower door (I was ok with a shower curtain), same existing window... but yes new tiles, certainly upgraded electrics and lighting, and a heated floor. We met a couple of times and he mentioned a $60k figure. It was considerably more than I had budgeted ($40,000) - but I'd consider it if it was the total all-in price. I don't really have a handle on construction costs but it's a tiny space, and I do have a handle on sixty thousand dollars: it's a lot of money. I paid him a $1,500 up-front deposit for renderings and to quote. I met with him and his designer a couple of times. After a few months he set a meeting in his office to present the renderings and the quote. He showed me a computer rendering then placed a contract in front of me to sign. It was for $90,000, plus an additional 10% to 15% allowance for cost overruns. I guess he saw me gasp when he showed me that figure. He said I had selected additional items over standard. Really? Thirty thousand dollars over his list price in cost overruns... for such a small space: a 6 foot by 9 foot bathroom. A hundred thousand dollar bathroom? OK, yes, I wanted a handheld shower head in addition to an overhead shower head. And yes, I wanted a walk-in shower with a linear drain. But a $30,000 plus-plus increase in cost? I lost all faith in him and refused to sign his proposal. I said I'd take the renderings as I paid for them and would leave. He told me they were his propriety property, I could only get a credit for the deposit if he got the contract. Or, I could look at them if I came back to his storefront. Right. So if I didn't pay for or receive the computer renderings - I asked for my deposit back. He said non-refundable. So I guess I paid one thousand five hundred dollars for the privilege of having him quote. I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but that doesn't sound like something I'd agreed to. I'm almost 80 years old and maybe he just takes advantage of older people. 3 days later he tried to apply damage control and mailed over a quote for $60,000 which I never looked-at having lost all confidence and trust in him. He mentioned he could do the renovation for $60 thousand dollars but it wouldn't be what I wanted. I already have something I don't want; and I really don't want to spend $60 thousand dollars and have something else I don't want. And now, I don't want the drawings - I just want my deposit back. I'm really glad I didn't use Hunter Kitchen and Bath as I'm afraid something awful would occur once the construction started and the price would escalate - that could have been so much worse, and could have potentially been much much more costly - with no way out. One star. Based on my own experience I can't recommend this firm.
