They have cats, dogs, and rabbits. I had the chance to walk a couple of the dogs when meeting them and ask the nice manager questions about the animals. I will be back to visit or volunteer. I know it's a shelter and the animals can get dirty but I do think a couple of them needed a bath but otherwise it's a great shelter with love for the animals. They do their best rescuing from other shelters. All the animals are super friendly I think that goes with caring for them each day they are good with people. My friend got his dog Remy from here and he's the best pup in the world. Would definitely recommend. The white bunny Sam has been here for a year they said she is a white bunny with red eyes and so very very sweet. If anyone is looking for a bun bun she was a really sweet bun.

We were sitting in the car outfront. She was then told to leave and escorted toward the door. The staff member, Denise if that is her true name was beyond rude and disrespectful. There was no sign posted stating that minors were not allowed inside without an adult. If there is such a policy, it should be clearly posted and communicated respectfully instead of embarrassing a child. I was also disappointed with the condition of the facility. There was a strong odor of urine throughout the building, and it appeared dirty during my visit. This is the third time we have visited and it always is the case. I understand businesses may have policies, but customers--and especially minors--should be treated with courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Our experience instead was met with dispresect, unprofessionalism and even hurt my child's feelings. I would never recommend this location for anyone. In my opinion the owner/ manager should definitely terminate or prevent this worker from ever working there again.

We went to Paramount Studios to see Blue Hawaii, and just missed Elvis, we saw that day, Jerry Lewis making The Nutty Professor, a scene where he picked up weights and his arms stretched to the ground while he stood there, very funny, and ate lunch with Cartwrights of Bonanza, and a slew of Stars. She left my husband with the inpression that SHE wanted it for personal use?!!! They dont give donation receipts for tax purposes, and the lady who answered the phone the 2 times we called to get directions didnt speak English.

We chose this agency based on their positive reviews, hoping to begin our adoption journey and finally start our family. That was well over a year ago, and in that time, this agency has done nothing but waste our time, money, and hope. At every stage, Building Bridges has failed us. They canceled meetings, canceled phone calls, and repeatedly rescheduled. They buried us in endless requests for paperwork and documentation from multiple agencies--only to then allow those very documents to expire, forcing us to start all over again. Despite us responding promptly and complying with every requirement, they've shown nothing but negligence and disorganization. We were told, "Once your house is inspected and approved, you'll be ready for placement." Our home was inspected and over six months ago with approval lagging for another 5 months. So, here we sit, still waiting, while Building Bridges drags its feet. We have spent hundreds of dollars on required trainings, testings, and travel--all with nothing to show for it. This is emotionally devastating. My wife and I have clean records, a safe and more-than-adequate home, and we live in a good area with great schools. We are fully ready to provide a loving, stable home. Meanwhile, we've been informed about the 700,000 children in the system in California who need homes--yet Building Bridges has actively prevented us from giving a child a home by refusing to move this process forward. Considering that we can not have biological children of our own and time is not on our side, this experience has been absolutely crushing. Building Bridges has robbed us of more than just time--they've robbed us of opportunity, hope, and trust. I have zero confidence in Building Bridges FFA. To anyone considering this agency: please save yourself the heartbreak and look elsewhere.

While the facility did look clean, my goodness, it smelled so bad. So I came to this animal shelter on a whim and the building is so nice. I was helped immediately, everyone was friendly, and I went to go look around at the dogs. I found a dog I was interested in but was on a hold. I was told that once the dog is no longer on the hold, I could call and set up an appointment for a meet and greet. Well, my first time at this shelter was on Wednesday, the dog was no longer on the hold today (Saturday) so I made sure to call and make an appointment for a Meet and Greet. The lady told me she had times available same day and I was able to meet the dog a few hours after making the phone call. I came in, I was helped promptly. And I got to meet the dog. I asked the worker if I would be able to walk the dog. It was a little misty outside so she gave me a jacket to give the dog and the staff member was with me outside with the dog and she was so friendly. Once I was done, I let the staff member know I wanted to adopt and she let me sit with the dog a little longer while she got the paperwork ready for me. The fee was not bad at all because it included the adoption fee, vaccines, check up with vet, pet insurance for a month, neuter, and microchip! Once I completed all the paperwork, I was given all the forms in a nice little folder and a bunch of flyers and coupons. I was also given a goody bag and a variety of blankets to choose from. I wish I remembered the lady that helped me because I truly feel like she made this experience extra special. She set up his neuter appointment so I haven't gotten a chance to take him home yet, but I'll be able to after he's neutered. I am really happy with my experience at this animal shelter and I'll definitely be referring friends and family to come adopt here!

She took them to the Upland Animal shelter thinking someone would help this poor baby. Instead she was met with dismissiveness and attitude being told by employees she could just wait for the cops since it was already close to closing. One wouldn't even look at her, just kept walking to her car. While I understand procedures and hours of operation, this is NO WAY to treat someone who's trying to help little creatures who cannot help themselves especially with the heat wave we're experiencing in Upland this week. Please keep this in mind when thinking of donating to this place. Disgraceful.

We could not have made it through the fostering process without the support of Serenity. It is like a family!!! They are very professional and make all the rules very clear throughout all of your training. We had one of our foster daughters (Tori) returned to her bio parents and they murdered her 8 months later. I would not be here today if it hadn't been for the support of the staff at Serenity.
