But the therapy equipment is designed specifically for the folks who need some help getting back to "normal" after an orthopedic injury--except for the soccer ball. At first I'd go back with my 14-year old daughter and do the "mom thing"--you know, kind of hover. But I really felt okay letting her go back alone. I didn't let her go back alone, but mostly because I enjoyed going back with her. They gave her exercises to do at home and checked her progress. They explained everything to both her and I. Now she's got her mobility and strength back. We will still have to work on the balance, and the goofiness. They can't fix goofy. I secretly think they encouraged it a bit. Awesome place.
