Loft is located in the West courtyard, it took me forever to find this store. I had parked by REI,…read morebut you can't cut through, so walked down to Macy's, in the rain, entered there and had to walk super far to find the door to go outside in the rain again, to reach Loft. By the time I arrived, I was dripping wet, tired and frustrated. The only reason I kept going, was I had to return an online purchase. Note to others: if this is your only destination, put West courtyard in your map search and park on 2nd level by the entrance! Once inside, the reps were nice, one even went and found the smaller sized shirt I needed for the exchange, and they processed the return of the dress quickly. Loft is not a store I frequent, in fact, I only made the online purchase because a button up denim midi dress kept stalking me on Instagram. Not knowing my Loft size, I bought two to try on, and had to return one. The denim dress is gorgeous, fits perfectly, and is a classic, timeless style that I can wear for years. I'm super happy with my purchase, if not the frustrating experience of trying to find this store. Next time I'll go to the Hillsboro location where you can just pull up in front of the store.

It has a larger variety of clothing, the store is much bigger, and it seems to get new arrivals a lot faster. The staff are always extremely friendly, even knowing their repeated customers by name (I'm not so sure that's a healthy reflection of my shopping habits). Denise and Shirly are always SO sweet and helpful-they're my go-to girls. The employees are also always wearing Loft clothing so they do a great job representing the brand and giving clients ideas on how to wear certain pieces (even helping them out of their comfort zones!) Even if it's extremely busy (like it was today) I'm always greeted with a friendly smile and given updates on what is new. Both the store and dressing rooms are very clean and organized, making it easy to browse and find what you're looking for. What can I say, I'm a Loft girl for life.

There was a lady there that helped. And she was pleasant. Her name was Dani. She listened to me complain the whole time and didn't roll her eyes or anything. So that's good. She was helpful and kept busy. And the girlfriend was really looking at the clearance rack and Dani would be like hey I'm putting these pants out on clearance now. And in my head I was thinking that she was just grabbing random pants off the rack or they were other pants that customers were wearing so she put a clearance tag on it just to appease us. Can you imagine these customers leaving the store with no pants on and thinking that was the weirdest department store ever. Also I'm pretty sure Dani worked there...

I went to Maurices this evening after trying literally seven other stores to find a pair of new…read morejeans. I'm one of those people that don't like to go clothes shopping because it always feels so intimidating, and I never feel good about myself afterward. My experience completely flipped at Maurices today! Felisha (I'm not sure if I'm spelling her name correctly) was who helped me out for the most part, and she made sure to make me feel comfortable and welcome the whole time! I simply cannot brag on her enough, she went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable in everything I was trying on & helping me find the correct sizes!! I have genuinely never had such a warm experience in a retail store before, and I will definitely ask for Felisha any time I go back. I'm not sure of the other gal's name that helped me out, but she was also very warm, kind. and willing to answer all my questions. Clothes are displayed beautifully, with color palettes together so it's easy to create outfits. The clothes are both on trend and classic. For example, they had long plaid shirts - mid thigh length - in a blue & gray combo and tan & cream. I've seen people wearing these jackets but no other shops had them. Unfortunately they didn't work for my shape, but if they did, I would be wearing one now! An offer to assist from a stylist came within minutes. When I explained why the jacket didn't work for me, rather than argue as some reps do, she immediately suggested a belt to give my waist the definition that was missing from the straight cut jacket. She clearly knew what styles would work best on my shape, as do I, and I was appreciative that she was seeing me as an individual and not just trying to push generic product to me. The clothes are well made and with very nice fabrics. Soft prints and lots of solids and neutrals. Many of styles of jeans available - high waist, mid rise, straight leg, wide leg . Clearly they realize that one style does not fit all. Well, done! Lots if accessories too. Scarves, hats, belts, fashion jewelry, some bags and shoes. There is a section in the back with several sale racks and the clothing there is also nice, but maybe from a previous season. So right now, lots of summer items. This will definitely be a regular stop when I am at Bridgeport Village.
