I can't say enough good things about my experience at Metro Florist. The flowers at my daughter's wedding at Pine Hollow this past weekend were absolutely beautiful. Many times people say that their floral arrangements were not what they expected. This was NOT the case. Our flowers were absolutely breathtaking. Danitte at Metro is fantastic. While planning the wedding, we met with a few florists and Danitte was the only person my daughter felt comfortable with. She listened to my daughter and understood her vision. We knew our centerpieces would be creative, but still exactly what my daughter had in mind. Also, Danitte was always a pleasure to work with and would always be there with advice when we would call her with even the smallest details (even questions not related to the flowers). She treats the wedding like it is her own and really cares about the flowers. You can tell she is passionate about her work and that she loves what she does. She was there the day of the wedding to make sure everything met her high expectations down to the pipe and drape. We had to change from an outdoor to an indoor ceremony due to rain and she made sure that the indoor room looked just as special as it would have outdoors. Everyone at the wedding said how gorgeous the centerpieces, escort card table arrangement and chuppah looked. Unless you definitely want to use this company, never give them your number or they will harass you with multiple consecutive calls and an absurd number of text messages until you either pick up your phone or respond. It is never a good idea to harass potential customers. If they don't know the difference between inquiring and harassment, I don't think they would be reliable or a good vendor. read more

I live in Great Neck and Metro is famous for their arrangements. Last year, I ordered a flower arrangement , it was more than what I expected. It was amazing. For the past two months I ordered few arrangements, but I guess they feel like they already have a good name and they don't have to please their clients any longer. I was embarrassed already three times, since all three times I went into the store and ordered the baskets to be delivered to friends or families, but it was very disappointing,. Every arrangement that I ordered from them, wasn't what I was promised and it was very cheap, even though I paid a lot of money for them. So, I stopped ordering from them. I was planning to have my son's wedding center pieces from them, but after three disappointments, one after another, we changed our mind. read more

My daughter's wedding was on Sunday , Aug 11th at Alegria Hotel Roof Top in Long Beach N Y. I had guests from all over Long Island, City and out of state. Look no further than Metro Flowers Decorators of Great Neck for your wedding floral arrangements! Adrian is so wonderful to work with and a true artist. Me and my husband worked with him for our November 2015 wedding and were so happy with the centerpieces, chuppah, bridal bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres he designed for us. All we needed to tell him was our favorite colors, that we wanted fall fruit and flowers incorporated, and that we were having a small farm wedding, and he ran with the details to create amazing pieces that made the day extra special and simply beautiful. He also built our chuppah from scratch with birch trees and was open to covering it with a family tapestry, no small feat. His prices were very reasonable and he was always responsive throughout the planning process. We still have a centerpiece in our apartment from the day - it dried beautifully! We would give Adrian 5 stars all around and work with him again in the future, as well as recommend him to friends and family. This is hands down the BEST florist within Long Island!!! I got married April 6th 2013 at Fresh Meadow Country Club and I was absolutely blown away. I am definitely a picky bride. Coming from someone that used to work within the wedding industry having done many parties at the Pierre and Plaza Hotels, I knew exactly what I wanted and only wanted to work with the best vendors. I had never heard of Metro prior to my wedding. I came across them through the country club. It was pretty shocking I booked a florist I had never heard of but my gut was telling me they had to be apart of my wedding. I worked with Fariba. She was extremely patient and had 3 meetings with me prior to booking, each over 1 hour. She held true to her word and delivered everything she promised and MORE! My husband, our families, and both of us were blown away when we entered the club. The Chupah was stunning. I told Fariba what my vibe was for the night and she completely created the night with that in mind. No words can describe how beautiful the centerpieces were. Fariba and Adrian are so talented that I had to show off their work and have 3 different kinds of center pieces. I literally did not have to worry about one thing as they completely were on top of their game. You would be foolish for even questioning if you should hire them for your event.
