I have been with Adrian for many years. His staff are far better at returning calls and followup than I am. This is a busy office with many clients for good reason. Adrian is running a complex machine and for someone to take the time to come out to me and make my car refinance as easy as possible is kind of a big deal. My family has been with State Farm longer than I have been alive (I'm 28) Within the last few years my family has passed and I am the one, the only one, (I'm an only child, only grandchild) that was responsible for my family. I am very displeased with the service I have received from your company. On 5/9/2017 I spoke to a customer service representative who assisted me with great help. I requested to cancel my policy and she explained to me that it can only be cancelled by the agency in which my insurance is issued through. She then attempted to contact the agency of Adrian Howard several times. After several unanswered calls she assured me that there would be information sent to the agency and my insurance would be cancelled and someone should contact me shortly. Before hanging up the phone we made sure all my information was up to date to reassure I had reliable contact information. On Thursday,May 25th, I checked my account and noticed that on 5/24 a payment was processed for the policy I had requested to cancel. After that, I called 1-972-252-7467 and was transferred yet again to customer service. I explained to the agent what my issue was as far as being charged for another payment and not being contacted in any of the two forms available. Email or phone. If I was contacted by phone there should have been at least a voice mail left to address my concerns. The customer service agent looked up my information and was able to view a request that was put in on May 9th of 2017 and was sent to the correct agency. She then explained to me what I already knew, only the agency of Adrian Howard can process my cancellation. Once again I am transferred to the agency of Adrian Howard and finally speak to a representative Tracy. I explain my situation once again in which I am then told by Tracy that she does not see any notes and has not received any messages. I told her that is strange considering I spoke to a customer service representative who was able to pull up notes and a date in which I last called. She then looks again and tells me she found the information where I called and that her agency was never notified to cancel my payment. I then tell her I would like my money refunded back onto my card. She tells me she is unable to refund my money through card and it can only be mailed due to the fact that the agency had not received any notice or request of cancellation until yesterday. I then ask what is the process in which message are sent to each other to get a better understanding of why the cancellation was not addressed sooner. Tracy is quiet on the phone and doesn't respond to me or hasn't asked me to hold. I tell her if you do not have the answers to my questions please transfer me to someone that does. She is still quiet and not saying anything. I then ask for her name and she is still quiet. I then tell her if she does not want to help me that is fine and weather or not she give me her name I can still just call customer service back and they will be able to provide me with that information. After I say this Tracy then gives me a date of the 20th in which my payment is taken each month. Tracy tells me my payment has to go through he regional billing office first and then it can be refunded because the payment is still processing. I then become frustrated due to the fact that it is very obvious this woman has no idea what she is doing. I explain to Tracy I understand she does not know everything or the process and that is okay,its past her job qualifications and simply ask to speak to someone more knowledgeable. I explain to her that there is a several issues of communication that need to be fixed if the office had never received notice of my cancellation and someone should be notified.It is a hassle to to keep calling and having to figure out on my end alone what is going on and why it has not been fixed. I just would like to speak to someone that can answer my questions and address my concerns in a courteous and prompt manner. She then replies again, maam your check is being refunded to you in the mail I don't see what the big deal is you will get your money back and your insurance will be cancelled. After this rigorous process of phone calls and attitude I am happy to be leaving Statefarm for good. If you would like to keep your customers I suggest you retrain certain individuals and identify communication issues within your company.Customer service is key to success. read more
