Then the dentist came in and told me my prior dentist is no longer there. First, I heard of it. I advocated for a less aggressive approach. No one was listening except my new friend Zach! I switch the hygienist right away cause it was just another job for her and to be perfectly honest she didn't even exam my teeth herself. Be careful who you choose. The dentist who I just met was nice but I was not happy that a diagnosis was recommended without personally examining my teeth!

I have been going to New Vision Dental since the mid-2010s. My primary dentist at this place has…read morechanged over the years--my most recent provider being Dr. Aaron Tran--but the service and care here has remained consistently positive. My teeth was in a particularly bad spot when I first stepped inside. But after repeat visits they are now in the best condition it has ever been at the time of this writing. Dr. Tran and the staff are excellent at what they do; the routine oral care that they perform--including (but not limited to) x-rays, cleaning, scraping, and gum health probing--seldom goes past mild discomfort. The occasional pain points may just be a result of having to work with my unique set of teeth and gums. But Dr. Tran is receptive to those occurrences, will work around it and sets appropriate expectations while I am in the chair. Dr. Tran and the staff also do not shy away from discussion and sharing oral hygiene advice, including recommending better brands, brushing and flossing techniques for improving preventative care in between office visits. As an example, I would not have made the switch to an electric toothbrush or (more recently) expanding floss without their counsel. And because of it, the checkups have had a progressively more positive outlook over time and become less costly. Finally, the office itself is clean and homely, the waiting room is always stocked with an assortment of magazines, and most operating rooms face an outdoor mural that is charming to look at. The only dynamic criticism I would lobby is that there can be a bit of waiting as your dentist moves from room to room, patient to patient. But at least when you come here you can be confident with Dr. Tran's work, and be absolutely frank about the whole process.

My previous Dentist, made his practice cash only, and relocated, due to Covid-19. Very little stability in life and losing a trusted Doctor is unsettling. I've been on a lucky streak of late. Mary Chess-Abelino, DDS has a very nice office and staff. She is personable and nice to interact with. She gives excellent Novocaine injections, those needles always seemed so big, this was a great experience, they have Nitrous Oxide also. I'm worried about one less thing, having been turned on to Dr.Mary! They accept some insurance plans.

Dr. Wu was incredibly attuned to our situation and offered us treatment options that would align with our family's needs and priorities. She also complimented my daughter's natural smile which nobody has ever done (outside of family) and really touched me. I left our consultation feeling so well informed and so supported as a parent. It was a really unexpectedly lovely experience.
