I tried to dab with water but after drying it ended up being discolored and had a crunchy texture where the beer soaked in. I thought my jacket was ruined but I brought it to barini leather and he is a miracle worker! He conditioned and cleaned the leather and made a custom leather dye to match and re-dyed the whole jacket. It literally looks brand new. Like the drink spill never happened. It's super soft and all one color again!

Gary is the owner and runs his leather repair/design business from his home (see my pics, he let me know it was okay to take pics too- just FYI). Told him what I needed and scheduled an appointment, as he was able to see me right away. Gary is VERY detailed oriented, experienced and you can tell that he is an expert at his craft. As he explained every detail about the adjustment(s) about my belt, discussed my options and I was impressed by his precise measurements. Business is located in a nice neighborhood, I felt safe. Gary is knowledgeable, friendly and top-notch expert at what he does and would definitely trust him with any leather repair or design work that I would need in the future. Thank you, Gary (Barini Leather) for your five-star worthy service and craftsmanship.

I knew it was going to be a tough job and I wasn't sure if my bag was salvageable but he took on the challenge and made me feel hopeful with his positive and reassuring attitude. After several weeks, it was ready and I was nervous to see how it turned out but I was relieved to see that he brought my leather bag back to life! The mold was completely gone (including the smell) - it looked amazing! Originally we weren't thinking it needed a repainting of the leather but he told me there were stains left behind after the mold was removed, and he made the call to have it repainted. I'm truly appreciative of the extra mile he went to ensure I was going to be happy with the final result. I will definitely be back for any leather repairs in the future. Levine produces great work with fair prices!

A few days ago, I had such a positive experience at Champion Han's Shoe Repair. I was able to make…read moreit there literally right before they closed at 5:30pm. Truly one of the most honest and straightforward service experiences I've had in a long time. I brought in a pair of platform sandals that I absolutely love. I had bought them from a friend who had previously tried to fix a broken strap with strong glue, and I was hoping the strap could be replaced or at least repaired so the damage wouldn't be noticeable or cause further issues. The man who helped me (who I think is the owner) was completely upfront. He explained that attempting to try to fix the strap could actually end up damaging the shoe even more because of the unknown type of glue that was used. The last thing I wanted was for the shoes to be ruined. Instead of just taking my money and trying something risky, he genuinely advised me to leave it as is. Even so, he still spent about 10 minutes working on them to improve their appearance. When he brought them back out, they looked so much better--I was honestly impressed. On top of that, he charged a very fair and reasonable price for his time and effort, which I really appreciated. If you're looking for someone honest, knowledgeable, and skilled to repair your shoes, bags, or luggage, I highly recommend coming here. Your items will be in good hands with someone who truly knows what they're doing. The only reason you might leave disappointed is if you don't like hearing the honest truth about what can (and can't) be fixed. I'll definitely be back. Thanks again!!

Whenever I visit the Camarillo Outlets (usually once every year or so), I always have to stop in…read morehere. I also always have to buy at least one thing. Thankfully, it's not much of a strain on my wallet!. Wilsons Leather sells both genuine and synthetic leather -- and you can tell which is which by the price tag. Being that it's an outlet store, the prices are quite reasonable. There's usually a promo on wallets and smaller handbags, which I adore. Their online store doesn't carry the same deals, but there's usually a sale of some sort if you'd rather not venture out into the middle of nowhere that is Camarillo. The store is huge and quite neat. The emphasis is definitely on bags, pocketbooks, totes, wallets and other such accessories. I personally need wallets with ample pockets and card space, and Wilsons Leather fits that need. Sleek, modern designs in cute colors -- I'm obsessed. There's some clothes, but not much and nothing that's piqued my interest. Leather jackets honestly aren't my thing, so I don't mind that the store doesn't carry a large selection of them. Customer service is efficient and hands-off, which I like. They do try to sell you their leather protection spray at the register, but I don't recommend it unless you're buying real leather. Plenty of parking around the area, though the Outlets also get quite busy. Weekdays are a great time to come by. Weekends... can be a nightmare, to say the least.

Wilson's Leather is a life-saver when it comes to my leather jacket obsession/needs. This store…read morecarries both synthetic and genuine leather for those who either want to pay more for better quality, or save the planet and their wallets. The synthetic leather jackets are all hung using plastic hangers, while the genuine leather products are hung with wooden hangers, which is a simple, yet genius idea. I bought a genuine leather jacket, because the pleather jacket I bought from Forever 21 3 years ago has finally started to crack and peel. I was pretty devastated, because that jacket matched with all of my clothes (granted, I love wearing dark clothes). Wilson's Leather not only has the best discounts, but there are so many styles, that it's almost hard to keep up. Whether you want to go bold with crazy colors, or keep it simple with an A-line, black leather jacket, Wilsons has it all. You seriously can't beat the price here. I used to avoid leather stores, because they're just unappealing, but my goodness, as I'm getting older, I'm loving the leather look more and more. I will definitely come back and buy more jackets once I can save up. You won't be spending hundreds and hundreds on jackets- I just spent approximately $150 on a genuine leather, and couldn't be happier with the size, look, and fit. By the way, you should always try on the jacket before purchasing. I tried on two of the same jacket, and one fit much nicer than the other. One was nicely fitted, while the other one was stretched in weird places, and made the bottom of the jacket all flared. Also, but leather protecting spray! It's approximately $7 and lasts!
