I understand retail can be busy, but professionalism is simple: acknowledge the customer, communicate clearly, and manage expectations respectfully. As someone who runs departments in the film and television industry, I can say this plainly - if one of my team members handled a guest or anybody that way, we'd have a serious conversation about standards. Leadership starts with how you treat people in small moments. I hope this feedback is taken constructively. Customer service is what separates a specialty store from a big box retailer.

But if you're looking for those cool "skater" Airwalks or those Rugged Outback work boots like I used to rock in the 90's pretending I was in Timbaland's crew... You ain't gonna find 'em. Like I said, things have changed! Instead of shopping off-brand shoe brands that back in my day were able to hold their own on the playground... My kids are getting name-brand shoes that I just pray stay clean enough to last them the entirety of the school year. And let's not start on the comparison of prices then vs now.
