There are some occasions that will require to pay your electricity, quick fast and in a hurry, meaning, you're not able to pay online for some reason. Amscot will give you an opportunity to do so. It's basically, your one stop shop to complete many errands instead of traveling around the world to do so. Honestly, I forget sometimes that places like this exist, I mean, it's so very convenient! When I remember. So anyway, a few months ago, I was pulled over for speeding and now I have this fee I need to pay. I was traveling near Tallahassee area in a town called Quincy. I was given a ticket and now I need to pay it, but guess what! I didn't have the option to pay online (they don't offer it) and they don't accept personal checks. So for me, I went to Amscot (they give FREE money orders) and took advantage of also purchasing stamps. I also had the option to pay my FPL account. I know banks exist and I have direct deposit just like the rest of the millennials but there are people that rely on check to check and decide not to have that option; Amscot would be that place. Expecting emergency money from a friend or relative out of state or vice versa? You can take advantage of the Wiring money option here by using Western Union. Need emergency cash money, quick fast and in a hurry? You can use their quick loan option here. They give you until your next paycheck and up to 30 days to pay them back with interest (about 10% of loan cost, plus $1). Hungry as heck and waiting in line? They offer free tootsie rolls to keep your sugar levels up! Anyhoo, the one stop place to take care of business!

I had to call customer service when it was taking a while to get my debit card and the lady I spoke with went above and beyond to help me. I ended up going to a location that is open on Saturdays to get a debit card right from the location. Gabriel Baez happened to be at the Sanford, FL location and he was wonderful! Very nice, very accommodating and professional and I could not be happier! Thank you Gabriel for being so wonderful!

(Hands shoot up enthusiastically, mine included) And so it is that I found myself in this, oh, let's call it a 'money trap'. The offer came in the mail, with a special code (authentic) and several hoops to jump through (minimum deposit by a certain date after opening, opt for paperless). Having been around the bend enough times to know that I could be at risk of doing a lot for nothing, I had my ducks all in a row and checked all the boxes (or so I thought). First sign of trouble was that I couldn't create an online ID after opening the account. When I called, the agent all but laughed at me (at least it felt that way), saying it takes time, dude (to which I wanted to say, REALLY, in this day and age?). When finally I could access it online, I made a transfer from another bank - which got rejected 3 days later! In the mail, I received a statement saying I was over-drawn by $4. So off I go on the phone again. This time, I was told that the $4 was for paper statements, which I couldn't opt out of because I couldn't get an online ID. I was also told that I had to go into the branch (the very essence of "online banking convenience" apparently being the Regions motto!). Two days after jumping through that hoop, just when the deadline was coming up, I thought I'd call to make sure everything was now kosher. The agent told me, no I didn't qualify for the sign-up bonus because the offer had expired!!! In the next hour and a half, I was transferred, disconnected, credentialled time and again (even though I was on the same call), got into loops with no apparent exit... Thankfully, I finally got Myesha, who patiently heard the whole saga of my frustration, and would not let go until she set things right for me. So zero stars for Regions and their unimaginably stupid 'systems': the stars are totally for a human who treated me like a human.

It was about 100 degrees out. I finally had a locksmith arrive after 5 pm. All my frozen groceries were spoiled. I had to discard $77.43 worth of groceries. I arrived home after 6 pm. I had heat exhaustion by then. I called many AAA phone numbers to complain, no resolution. The locksmith also said they received 3 different reasons the tech could not get into the car. All were untruths. The next day I was offered $30 in AAA dollars. I asked the agent what grocery store accepted them, which I knew none! She acted surprise and said she didn't know. I said a check for the amount of groceries that were spoiled was what I was asking for. She acted like how could that be done! No resolution, no one responding now. Tried to call the corporate office and a woman who answered, "Hello", told me she was trying to get her home phone number off as the corporate number for over a year! Find another roadside assistance company folks!
