If I can give them less then 1star I would do it because someone there name: Marizela very poor at her costumer services me and my partner we live in santa rosa he called this company over there and she answered and told hom that everything was fine he can pick up the loan but when we got there she put the information in the computer and gave him letter that he couldn't get the loan they denied it not apologizing for coming that far she was really rude just like that then he called. I went to Check 1 down the street and the guy asked me for my info on a post-it note, then gave me a second post-it note asking for 3 personal references. I told him no thanks. I grabbed the two post-it's and left. I went to Advance America (just down the street) and the lady behind the counter welcomed me in and told me my options. She was nice and fairly quickly got all the paperwork done. She offered cash or direct deposit. Due to attending my mom's funeral down south I was low on cash and they did it right. Night and day difference experience. Professional and helpful. Glad I decided to give them my business. read more

This location is the most unprofessional establishment I have been to a long time. The girls are slow and don't know what they are doing. They don't finish one transaction at a time, so the process takes longer than need be. They are texting and looking at their phone the whole time. One of the employees won tix to an upcoming concert (Lauryn Hill/Nas) and was talking to the other employee about it, asking where the venue is? First time to this location being I normally don't sign up for payday loans . I was short on money due to funeral expenses we just had last week. I applied for a loan online and I was told I can pick up at any location. I was in Vallejo so it said their was a location on Springs road .As I entered the door of course I'm pretty sure they don't get to much business this way or even have too many customers due to the corona. The guy behind the glass with an older lady and it was approximately 2:30. The guy ask are you receiving money And how much are you getting ,I told him 255 payday loan. He then tells me without even asking from where or how I was receiving the loan . He just says out his mouth you need to go to Walmart in store to receive your money because they don't carry that much. Of course I'm not all about arguing or wondering why ? I then just ask in store on Sonoma he says yes. I get to Walmart and it's a huge line so I stood there for a good 30 minutes before reaching the front . I then ask the girl I'm here to get a payday loan and she looked at me and said we don't do payday loans we only offer money gram. I told her why would the guy send me here . She then apologized and I called advance America on springs road . I spoke to the older lady I seen and I asked her why would you guys send me here and it's not the place for pick up . She then ask what were you suppose to receive , I told her a payday advance . She then apologized because she said it was a misunderstanding he thought it was money gram . I then said how can it be a misunderstanding when he didn't ask me any thing, but if I was receiving money. Now I gotta come back to the location when all he had to do was help me and provide the service and ask question instead of assuming shit. I was so heated wasted my time got back over there with my sons now I'm feeling disrespected as if my time wasn't valuable. I had been there several times before to buy money orders and have had a pleasant experience each time. The personnel is courteous and professional. Now, I went in for a payday loan and was blessed with having such understanding team of helpful young ladies. I waited a little while to have my paperwork processed and witnessed how each time someone came in, several employees greeted them with kind and sincere words. I am very happy I was able to get approved for my loan. I was given more information about all of their services. I have to say they have a plethora of services ranging from buying money orders to providing tax services. A truly one stop shop. Although, I certainly feel that the interest charged is outrageous, it seems that would be the norm in the industry. I would have given this business 5 stars but my instincts forbade me to do so.. let me explain. I went there to get a payroll advance, for the maximum allowed, ($255) After about 20 minutes of filling out paperwork and verifying various information- it was time to show me the money! The young lady then told me that she was going to give me $100 in CASH and $155 on a PREPAID card! Slightly annoyed I asked why, after all I wanted a CASH advance. She explained to me that they didn't keep a "lot of cash on hand" At that point I became a little more annoyed, but again kept it in. .I was offered the alternative of taking a check for the full amount. I opted for the cash and card, not surprisingly along with the card came a sheaf of brochures and services. I personally felt that the lack of cash was a ploy to try and sell me a host of extra services and thus I felt slightly duped! Giving me ALL the cash and then offering me the extra services would have been more appropriate. The service though was very friendly and professional, the ambience was almost that of a small bank or Credit Union. So I will give them three stars. read more
