Definitely giving this location 5 stars based on one employee in particular.. I believe her name was Mimi. From the moment I walked in she was very helpful and truly went above and beyond helping me get a rather larger check verified from a company who was pretty hard to get a hold of. Wasn't too happy about the fee of the check but all the trouble I had went through because of the amount I was just thankful she was able to get it cashed for funds I needed asap. All the other employees that were answering phones, and helping other customers seemed to be very nice as well. I went to make a deposit on August 21st at 9:34 PM and put in $1700, but it never showed up in my account, and the money didn't come back out of the machine. Instead, I got a slip from the machine that said: see slip below attached. It's now August 26th, and everyone I've talked to has given me a different timeframe with no solution. I dealt with the branch manager in Concord on August 24th, who I thought was going to fix it or give me a timeline, but when I called her on Wednesday the 26th, she told me to call the Hercules branch and talk to Palo the technician. I called and spoke with Fem, who was somewhat helpful with getting the info to submit the claim to move it forward, but I'm still waiting for a call back. With all this confusion about my $1700 deposit, I've spent hours being transferred from one person to another, and even to a customer service department in the Philippines... totally unacceptable . I really need to move my banking somewhere else . If you're thinking about banking with US Bank, DON'T. The US bank service have changed a lot over the years and I've been a loyal customer for 23 years but it time for a change. I never have an issue with this place until last time I felt super discriminated because while I was trying to cash my paycheck this Asian woman ask me to deposit my money on a debit card that they offer , I told her no because I need the cash, but she keep pushing snd even tell me they didn't have enough cash so I have to put my money in a money order , so I insisted and told her one more time that I really need the cash not a money order or a debit card , she was really annoying my check was for like 300$ very bad excuse to not cash my check. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I took my father in law to cash a $25 personal check that he got as a gift from a friend that lives in another state. They had us in there for literally 30 mins acting like they were going to cash the check but then came back and accused him of forging the check then when we pointed out the signature was different they decided to say the check was too old (dates end of September). Now had they said that beforehand instead of having us there for 30 minutes I would have been fine with that but for him to be accused of forging a check for $25 then changing the reason to something else is just pure disrespect. It literally took Carmen an hour to handle a transaction that should only have taken five to ten minutes. Doesn't seem like see enjoys her job. Took a personal call and talked in Spanish for five minutes. Very unprofessional and doesn't seem like she likes her job. I've gone here several times for different services they offer and every time is very pleasant. All the ladies, and 1 guy, that work there are extremely nice and friendly. Sometimes the wait is long depending on the time of day or evening, but they always greet u as u walk in. I've been to other branches but this bar far is my favorite one. The worst customer service I've ever experienced, how these women are still employed is beyond me. Three clerks behind the glass, not in any rush to help...to say they are slow is an understatement. It wouldn't matter if the line is going out the door, they are not going to make any effort to hurry or make sure you have a great customer experience. I went there to receive a western union transaction right before my chemotherapy appointment, despite the fact I had already received my western union money transfer several times before at this location...the clerk decided that she would change the rules as my middle name which is on my drivers license was not on the transaction...even though I had done this several times already. She was very rude, completely lacking in customer skills, patience and understanding. Service at this establishment depends soley on the mood of it's disgruntled employees. Don't waste your time and ruin your day, go somewhere else.
