Definitely giving this location 5 stars based on one employee in particular.. I believe her name was Mimi. From the moment I walked in she was very helpful and truly went above and beyond helping me get a rather larger check verified from a company who was pretty hard to get a hold of. Wasn't too happy about the fee of the check but all the trouble I had went through because of the amount I was just thankful she was able to get it cashed for funds I needed asap. All the other employees that were answering phones, and helping other customers seemed to be very nice as well. All around one of the best locations I have been to customer service wise and I will definitely recommend to anyone needing check cashing services! Thank you again. read more

Do not use this business if at all possible, emergency's happen but they'll pretty much disregard you as soon as you sign and accept their money and end up costing you more than you plan. I never have an issue with this place until last time I felt super discriminated because while I was trying to cash my paycheck this Asian woman ask me to deposit my money on a debit card that they offer , I told her no because I need the cash, but she keep pushing snd even tell me they didn't have enough cash so I have to put my money in a money order , so I insisted and told her one more time that I really need the cash not a money order or a debit card , she was really annoying my check was for like 300$ very bad excuse to not cash my check. If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I took my father in law to cash a $25 personal check that he got as a gift from a friend that lives in another state. They had us in there for literally 30 mins acting like they were going to cash the check but then came back and accused him of forging the check then when we pointed out the signature was different they decided to say the check was too old (dates end of September). Now had they said that beforehand instead of having us there for 30 minutes I would have been fine with that but for him to be accused of forging a check for $25 then changing the reason to something else is just pure disrespect. Great services are offered but I think management needs to revive or refresh.. i knew I should've went somewhere else.. used my WHOLE LUNCH HOUR literally waiting. They had 1 employee during 12 o'clock rush ....2nd employee comes back from lunch only to assist the 1st employee ... 3rd employee comes in 5 min later sees the line takes her sweet time to login I loudly say I only have a 30 min lunch hoping 1 of the 3 employees would realize Time management and serious customer service should be MANDATORY TRAINING and implemented ACTIVELY AND DAILY. It literally took Carmen an hour to handle a transaction that should only have taken five to ten minutes. Doesn't seem like see enjoys her job. Took a personal call and talked in Spanish for five minutes. Very unprofessional and doesn't seem like she likes her job. Nearly 2 years since my last review and this place is still the freaking worst! Waited in line nearly 15 minutes to be told... "money order machine is down" ... a sign on the door or an occasional announcement might be helpful rather then telling customers after waiting in line forever! I've gone here several times for different services they offer and every time is very pleasant. All the ladies, and 1 guy, that work there are extremely nice and friendly. Sometimes the wait is long depending on the time of day or evening, but they always greet u as u walk in. I've been to other branches but this bar far is my favorite one. The worst customer service I've ever experienced, how these women are still employed is beyond me. Three clerks behind the glass, not in any rush to help...to say they are slow is an understatement. It wouldn't matter if the line is going out the door, they are not going to make any effort to hurry or make sure you have a great customer experience. I went there to receive a western union transaction right before my chemotherapy appointment, despite the fact I had already received my western union money transfer several times before at this location...the clerk decided that she would change the rules as my middle name which is on my drivers license was not on the transaction...even though I had done this several times already. She was very rude, completely lacking in customer skills, patience and understanding. Service at this establishment depends soley on the mood of it's disgruntled employees. Don't waste your time and ruin your day, go somewhere else. Thank goodness I had enough money to go to Cash Max who completed the transaction with no hassles and a wonderful FRIENDLY atmosphere, where your buisness is APPRECIATED!!!!!!! read more
