Honesty can go a long way I would rather somebody just be straight up with me than constantly putting me off.

While standing in their unkempt shop, I was able to find at least 4 parts without a mark on them. Picking one up and showing them. I explained that I am a single mother with no family in the state and the reason I hadn't returned it yet is because I just haven't had the chance and I sure wasn't going to try to screw them or myself out money. Even after proving that they don't religiously mark all of their parts they said they could only issue me a store credit. BAD BUSINESS. I don't think refunding the cost of the part by any means would have put their business under by any means. They probably shouldn't offer a 90 day return policy if they are going to accuse their customers of returning a bad part.

I wish I could have left zero stars! I was just at my physical therapy appointment 2 doors down…read morefrom O'Reilly's Auto Parts store here in Berea. The employees, the clients/patients and I that were inside Commonwealth Hand Physical Therapy watched a person's van being towed away from O'Reilly's store. We noticed the very large parking area at their store with warning signs posted telling people that their vehicles would be towed away at their own expense if they were not a customer at their store. I understand that there are rules for a reason. I get that. As we watched the van being towed away, the owner of the van and her young granddaughter, who looked like she may have been about 10 or 11 years old, walked in the physical therapy business and looked very upset. I asked the grandmother if the van belonged to her and she told me that it did. There were no parking spots available at the physical therapy business so she had no place to park other than the parking lot at O'Reilly's. Upon further questioning from me, the grandmother told me that the van was their only vehicle and they had made plans to take their granddaughter to a Christian Youth Camp in Alabama. Now, the granddaughter may not be able to attend the youth camp because a lot of the money they were going to use to buy gas, food and lodging will now have to be spent to get their van back. I also want to mention that there was only one vehicle parked in O'Reilly's big parking lot. I took it upon myself to walk to O'Reilly's to speak to the manager to let him know that the little girl probably won't be able to attend camp now, due to her grandparents having to pay to get their vehicle back. I understand that there are rules for a reason. I get that but the lack of compassion from the manager was unbelievable! He was a real jerk! I could understand if their parking area was full but like I mentioned, there was only one vehicle parked in their big parking area. I told the manager that my son did a lot of business with them but he would definitely not be doing anymore business with them and that I would be sharing the incident with everyone that I know. I'm also going to contact O'Reilly's corporate office and share the incident with someone in a higher up position. I think the manager at the O'Reilly's here in Berea should be made to apologize to the grandmother, the granddaughter and should reimburse the grandparents for the cost of having to pay the towing company to be able to get their vehicle back. I think the manager's name was Dillion. He yelled it out to me as I was walking out the door. I don't know how people like Dillon can even sleep at night. Mitzi
