I do not give my valuable time easily unless I personally feel someone truly went above and beyond and truly deserves recognition. Just recently purchased a 2006 Mercury Grand Marquis which I had driven it from Huntsville, AL to Pensacola, FL with no problems. However, after three days the vehicle was dead in the water and would not turn over, so I removed the battery to get it tested, which confirmed that it definitely was an old and dead battery. Installed a new battery which only lasted a few weeks, so needed additional tests. This is where Mr. Aaron Dressel came in to assist in all of this and to identify all of the probable causes. Aaron was detrimental in not only identifying what was needed to get me safely back on the road, he also assisted me in the dead of extreme heat. Mr. Dressel installed my new battery, replaced both battery cable terminals, and explained how to remove and install a new alternator. He was very calm, patient, and professionally teacher-like on explaining all the procedures in a way I could relate and should be able to do myself next time something like this comes up. It is folks like him that makes me appreciate that there are people who care. I do not know if it was just the timing or there was a connection between this AutoZone employee that made this venture a truly appreciative customer service event. This puts added pressure on the RV's hydraulic brakes. I called the InvisiBrake's manufacturer, Roadmaster Inc, for assistance. They gave us the name of Humphrey's to have it checked. I called them and they got us in as soon as we arrived. They were able to troubleshoot and repair the problem (blown fuse and a wire that came loose) for a very reasonable charge. We were back on the road in about 3 hours, which included the mechanic's 1 hour lunch break. These folks were very friendly, knew what they were doing, and got the job done quickly and for a good price. I would definitely check with Humphrey's for your hitch & trailer needs in the Pensacola area.

The service that I just had was to replace all of my Ignition Coils and Sparkplugs. They even put an additive in my Transmission Converter "just in case" at no charge. I had had my tranny fluid changed a few months ago and I mentioned a shudder under fast acceleration. They addressed the two possibilities. The Coils and Plugs were original to 2001 but had only 70,000 miles of wear on them. I made the decision it was time to update the parts to new. Much smoother ride and no more shudder. They proceeded to charge me $212.66 for reading a code which O'reilly did for free in about 5 minutes. Charged me $182.87 for labor, just for that. They want to charge me $500 for parts and $330 for labor to fix the car, a total over $1,000. I found the parts online for $150 and saw that it would take about two hours to fix according to multiple websites. I would have paid up to $500 for this fix but they wanted to charge double. Stay away unless you want to get ripped off.
