I called AutoZone and O'Reillys to see if they will sell you wipers and then install them which they both said they would. I started at AutoZone who told me they couldn't get wipers for my vehicle after I pulled in and suggested I go to O'Reillys. I started at AZ only because of proximity. After getting to O'Reilly's, Scott, the gentleman that helped me had to do quite a bit of research to find the proper wipers for my vehicle. It was not a simple endeavor. We had to order from 2 warehouses and they arrived on different days. However, the fit was perfect and they work beautifully. In the finance office, I was explicitly told that an extended warranty was required for my lender to approve the loan. It was framed as a benefit--"only about $20/month"--without proper disclosure that this was on a 10-year loan. On a $14,700 camper with a $5,000 down payment, I should have financed well under $10,000. Instead, I was sold nearly $5,800 in warranties, separate from GAP coverage (which I actually wanted). That alone should have been a red flag. After taking delivery, I never received a bill from the lender. I had to call Camping World myself--on the day I was leaving for a trip--to find out the original loan had "fallen through." I was pressured to immediately sign new financing documents via email, with the clear implication that failure to do so could require returning the camper. Under extreme time pressure and trusting the dealership to act in good faith, I signed. Only later did I discover additional warranties totaling $2,100 had been added without my consent, which were not present on the original paperwork I signed in person. It was about 7am and I was putting the trailer on the hitch and I left the back of my SUV open when I put the trailer on the hitch the door got stuck and with the weight of the trailer it bent the door in half breaking my door and the back window. I was so frustrated, but I needed to get new tires put on the trailer. I headed to the trailer parts store and they were so incredibly helpful. They helped me bungee the door closed at no cost. When I went to connect my trailer to my vehicle I realized the connection from my SUV to the trailer wasn't the right one. My morning wasn't going great. Luckily the employees at Trailer Parts Plus were able to help me! They didn't charge me extra to help and they made a horrible morning (when I was about to drive for 12 hours by myself) a little less stressful. Thank you so much for all of your help.
