I've always found the staff to be friendly and knowledgeable here. Purchases are rather easy to make and suggestions are well thought. However, during COVID 19 their store denotes masks must be worn but I witnessed 2 employees not wearing masks. The one specifically took it off to talk to someone. read more

I can't say enough about my experience here. I came here a few days ago, after my Christmas party at work. I just needed a few things, and have never been here before, so I needed a little break from my quotidian life, So I stopped to get accessories for my car. When I asked for help, a young gentleman named Steve quickly responded it was very happy to help me out. He was like a librarian for auto parts. He knew where everything was!! I'd ask for one thing, within seconds he's walking right over there pointing at it. It was amazing. It saved me a lot of work navigating the whole store. It was nice to alleviate some of the stress from the holidays by just relaxing and having some small talk with Steve. Absolutely funny guy, he is not only well versed in all things auto related, he also has a shining sense of humor. Very witty. After he helps me out with everything that I needed, I paid, Any followed me outside, so we both had a smoke and talked. I will definitely come back again. I wish I would have came to the store sooner, I didn't realize how great they are with customer service. They employ the upper echelon of customer service. Years ago I came here while my family was looking for some auto parts. I don't really know too much about anything automotive, but it's a nice store, filled with many different parts and services. It's on the corner of the intersection of North Wales Road and Welsh Road and it can get crowded and backed up if you're trying to leave, but I believe for this store it is worth battling the traffic. read more

I have no idea how this establishment can run fluidly, if it even can, But some of the employees shouldn't even be working here, If anywhere. The few times I've came in here, I've smelled marijuana on one of the cashiers, The guy with a deep voice. He couldn't even keep his eyes open, so I'm not sure how he is able to grab auto parts and see them correctly. I had same cashier each time, and he always smells like a combinations of cigarettes and marijuana. And yes, I realize if you have a marijuana card it is legal in Pennsylvania, but I wasn't aware that you can come to your job stoned. Having this guy ring me up, I almost felt like I was getting a contact buzz from his marijuana stench. Look, I realize that there isn't any blueprint to life and everybody follows a different trajectory, But I cannot see how this guy will perform fruitfully in the workforce ever if he is constantly stoned. I don't think I'll ever visit this establishment, because I don't want to have to smell cigarettes and marijuana every time this guy rings me up. read more

I couldn't believe the customer service that I received here. It was absolutely amazing. I was heading to New York to visit my family on the holidays, And I was looking for an air freshener and a few lug nuts. I walk in, and I was greeted happily by a gentleman named Steve. He directed me to The items that I was searching for in a matter of seconds. He knew the store very well. After that, we got to talking about everything under the sun. Just a really friendly guy. Talking to him was like talking to an old friend. Lots of smiles, lots of laughs. When the conversation ended, Steve smiled at me and said "Hey man, anytime you need anything, come back here and ask for Steve. I will take care of you no problem!" Just went to the Advanced Auto Parts off of North Wales road. I turned on my car and both headlights were out so I raced over to the store knowing that the staff are always incredibly nice and helpful and they would change then for me. I went to the man at the front desk to look up what I needed and he didn't even know what a Scion was. I mean, you work at a car parts store and you didn't even know Scion TC was a real car? Anyway, the gentleman was nice enough. He showed me what I needed and I politely asked if someone could help.me change them. He refused, said it wasn't there policy. I voiced that i didn't understand when that happened because the guys had always helped me in the past. Took 1 minutes, tops. He then referred to the woman who was the manager and she confirmed it was against their policy. I said both of my headlights are out, the gentlemen that work here always helped before, can you please help me? She refused and stated it wasn't their policy. I said well, that's a lie because they always helped before, sometimes even offered.I stated that I had a 45 minute drive home because I lived in Philadelphia and she proceeded to tell me to YouTube it. The store was not busy and I could get pulled over for driving with my brights on. She also stated that the gentlemen helped before because they wanted to. Blatantly telling me she didn't want to help and didn't care about my predicament. That was the worst customer service I have ever had. She was incredibly rude for absolutely no reason and as a manager, you should be willing to help a polite and continuous customer with something as simple.as a headlight change. Stay away!!!!!! These people are dishonest, they sold me a part for my truck and it failed less than a year later. When I filed my warranty claim with corporate that it damaged the engine for my truck, My copy of the receipt was not ledge able at all, and my record of the purchase of the part from them was deleted by someone at the corporate level to cover up and get out of paying for the engine for my truck. this was back in march now they kept telling me that i needed to talk to this person, and this person, and so on and so forth. So finally after demanding to talk to speak with the president & or the CEO and getting denied to do so, they paid me for the engine that "I HAD TO PURCHASE MYSELF" and refused to compensate me for the inconvenience that it caused me. I lost several thousands of dollars and time off of work trying to get them to pay for the damages, very rude & dishonest company & people. "I would recommend to stay away" The store staff & the staff @ the corporate level are very rude and arrogant, I'm a mechanic and they talked down to me like I was stupid & didn't know what I was talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
