**Beware STI owners**…read more I thought really long about posting this review, but I am so angry and disappointed about the damages on my car and lack of communication from this shop that it needs to be said. I would not bring any vehicle to this shop even if you paid me to. After recently moving to PA, my husband and I were searching for a shop that would be on par to any of the New York/New Jersey shops that we were used to. We saw that PSI Proformance had great reviews so we thought we would give it a try since they have worked on many STI's previously. We brought our recently purchased Series White STI to this shop for a wheel alignment, corner balancing and for them to look over my sway bar install. Simple enough right? Travis, the owner of the shop, gave my husband and I, a tour of the shop upon arrival. After seeing all the cars that they work on and having a conversation with Travis, he made it seem like we could trust him with our car - we were surely mistaken. First, Travis contacted us and indicated that we installed our sway bar backwards. Ok? We aren't mechanics, maybe we installed it wrong? Then, the car was brought to a third party shop to get the corner balancing and alignment done. Fine, maybe they don't have the machinery to do so? After a couple of days, we picked up the vehicle around closing time and immediately noticed something was off on the way home. The steering wheel was crooked. The next day we did a full look over of the car and also noticed a gash on the side of the rear driver side door. We are very meticulous with our vehicles and we are for certain that the scratch was not there prior to the drop-off. We had suspicions and were hesitant on bringing the vehicle back for further damages. So we decided to bring the car to a local shop just to look over the alignment and sure enough, it was completely off. We contacted Travis right at that moment and he indicated that he would give us a partial refund for the alignment. Then, we also found out that the sway bars were installed BACKWARDS, so we basically had them installed correctly the first time. The sway bars being installed backwards caused the inner tie rods to grind against the sway bars and damage them. We then called back, however the receptionist indicated that Travis would call us back. He never did. We called multiple times throughout the week requesting to speak to Travis, but it was radio silence. We had paid $700 for the shop to re-install a sway bar backwards, have our rear door scratched, have alignment completely off, and who knows if the corner balancing was actually done correctly. Our car had more damages when it was finished than when we brought it in. We ended up bringing our car to Prime Motoring (202 US-46, Hackettstown, NJ 07840) for a full build, where they are actual professionals and not amateurs who install sway bars backwards. Stay away from this place!

For starters our detailer Gabe @ Total Detailing, Pottstown, recommended PSI who tuned his WRX…read more Anthony is an amazing tuner and very communicative about bolts on/fabrications, recommendations and diagnostics as it relates to tuning our son's 2020 WRX which our engine was nearly destroyed by R/T Tuning. The services received was above and beyond what was expected. Titanium exhaust welded for $25 less than what was initially quoted and issues from R/T were resolved during our tuning session. He even committed after hours that ended in extremely great results!!! In addition, you can be 100% certain their numbers are real and not fake. I won't be trusting anyone else to touch this car or his brother from here on out. They've certainly earned our trust and repeated business. Tip (some employees should be more thoughtful about expensive wheels getting chipped)

Dropped my car off and left all my documentation in the key drop-off. They have a box that you pull…read moredown to the right of the door with the key drop slot, and it has a pen in there, envelopes, where you can tick off the things that you want done and write in anything extra. Loved that extra little bit of care because nothing drives me crazier than trying to find an envelope and pen in my car because there's nothing but a key drop slot in the door in so many other places. They think of the little things. I had made my appointment online a couple of weeks before using one of the flyers that came in the mail, I scanned the QR code. I did put it in my phone as a reminder however I actually put in the wrong day, I would have been a day late however they sent me a reminder text to let me know that hey your appointment is coming up. Amazing, and very timely! I spoke mainly with Brandon and in all my years I have never spoken to any car repair place and receive such great service. He listened to my concerns as I have a few because my car is older. They kept me apprised of every step of the way. From initial diagnostics, when they finish them they sent me a link that took me to a website but not only detailed information about what needed to be done, but also recommendations with PICTURES to show what they were talking about. I was able to show them to my brother who was mechanic in New Jersey he said I see their concern and he agreed on their diagnostics, but we're getting rid of the car within a year so no need to do those things right now. When I spoke to Brandon we talked about what needed to be done for the inspection, the things that I wanted to have done extra including the oil and having an A/C repaired, and there was zero hard sell of any of the other options that were recommended but not needed at time of service. I have never had such an amazing experience at a mechanic shop in all my years and I can guarantee I will never go to another auto repair shop as long as I live in this area, I finally found the best mechanics around and trust me I've been to probably just about all of them including dealerships. They are absolutely outstanding and it didn't matter who I spoke to on the phone they were great, Brandon stood out as exceptional. Thank you Ross for the detailed Diagnostics.

My opinion....Avoid this shop until the state's investigation is complete…read more I was planning to have my vehicle inspected here until I was warned by someone I know with a friend at the the state auditor's office. According to them, this location is allegedly being investigated for allegedly allowing a technician whose Pennsylvania state inspection license was revoked to continue performing state inspections while management covered it up. I was also told that the reason why they are being investigated is inspection records may have been changed so the shop could continue maximizing profits instead of following state regulations. If that's true, any vehicles inspected under those circumstances could be required to undergo another inspection by a properly licensed technician. I can't personally verify every detail, or know if this is 100% true but the information was concerning enough that I took my business elsewhere. I think you can call the state inspection hotline and confirm wether a shop is under investigation or not. My opinion.....if there is an investigation, Until the investigation is complete and the facts are made public, I would think twice before trusting this shop with a state inspection. There's too many other options where this isn't a worry.
