I went to this advanced auto parts to see what was going on with my battery which I had purchased from an AAP store on Ft. Lauderdale and it was still under warranty. I was helped by a very nice young man named Matias Zambrano. I explained to him that I had gone to the store on old Cutler, where an intellectually challenged young man told me that my battery was fine. Matias checked the battery. Confirm the battery was for all intents and purposes no good. He then honored my warranty. I had three months left on this battery and very quickly installed the new battery. He went above and beyond by suggesting that I buy covers for the terminals to protect against the heat and the corrosion that we all see I was so impressed by him I complimented him to his manager. This is store number 9940. I will return especially if this wonderful young man there. read more

Went in for a bulb replacement, asked rep if I had the correct one, he looked on the computer and couldn't confirm but agreed that it was similar to the one removed from my wife's vehicle and said good luck when I purchased it without giving me a receipt. Went outside to attempt insta, but it was not the correct bulb. Went back inside less than 5 minutes after purchase, communicated with THE SAME REP, who asked me if I opened it after I told him it wasn't the right one. And I replied yes is that okay?"" This location is very convenient for me since I live two blocks away. They usually are stocked with everything I need and the store is always tidy and clean. I once came here for a battery change in my previous vehicle and they were able to help me quickly and efficiently. The gentleman was done with the install by the time I finished paying. But I will say service here can be mixed depending on the day you can find yourself with individuals with lack of knowledge when it come to vehicle parts and what this company carries. read more

Came to advanced auto parts to get a new battery for my car. This location has its own parking so there is plenty of spots to choose from. When we came in we were greeted right away by a young woman and were taken care of by another man at the counter. Came in to get the best deal and did. Got a new battery for about $100. I was so happy to do so the best part was that the gentleman behind the counter installed it for free. He put it in for us and the car turned on great. It was a deal for the service and item we received. Anytime I need a battery or anything else I'm definitely going to come by here. read more

Review is about the Inverness Florida advance auto parts store. This store has gone downhill over the last couple of years since the previous manager by the name of John left this store. Too many young kids with drama and unhappy faces have come through here. Not very eager to help anyone and never a smile. Much to my surprise, I walked in there on Sunday, and a young kid by the name of Christian helped me out, and this kid was unbelievable. All smiles, and everything was yes, sir, and absolutely, and a very positive attitude!!! That's exactly how this store ran for many years while the previous manager ran it. Maybe this kid will turn the store around. I stopped shopping at this store and started going to AutoZone just so that I won't have to feel the negative energy. But I will say, this young kid by the name of Christian is going to move up the chain quickly if he keeps up his positive positive attitude and stays away from the bad apples! Hopefully, soon he can hit management and clean house and make sure every employee serves the public and treats them in the correct manner. Great job Christian! Terrible employee attitude. Lackadaisical work ethic, actually "NO" work ethic. Purchased an item online went to the store for pick up--the surly clerk declared you have to wait in that line like everyone else. I did wait in that line with everyone else, and canceled the order I'd come to retrieve. No money being spent here for these jokers. Do yourself a favor, shop elsewhere. read more

Went in to get my battery charged and I ended up needing a new battery. The girl changes the battery and I'm here thinking everything is fine. I make a stop and notice shit my car isn't supposed to sound like that okay let me at least make it to work. I somehow made it work and my car shuts off completely. I ended up calling a tow truck to get it towed to my dealer and of course the guy is like your battery wasn't installed properly. Turns out that by the time I drive back home my car completely shuts off disrupting my plans for the night. I ended up calling back the store letting them know that my battery wasn't installed properly only to be told it's after 6 there's nothing that can be done it can also be anything.
