I have been bringing my cars here for the past couple of years for regular maintenance. I like how you can schedule online which makes it easier at drop off time. They are usually pretty timely for regular maintenance. I even recently had some suspension work done and they were able to get it done within a couple of hours. The price is comparable to what you pay at most places. This isn't a budget mechanic but they do a fair job for the price that they charge. I will continue to use them for all my oil changes and tire services. read more

Swindlers! Recently went in to have my headlights replaced on my fiat; I brought my own bulbs!!! Dude said it would be $120 to change out each headlight!! I went with one because one was out while the other was still hanging on and cause wtf?! Who has $240 for that?!? He told me they'd have to take off my whole bumper to change it out hence why it was so much $, turns out that was BS! Wish I found CARCAREKIOSK.COM sooner or looked online in general(MY BAD)!!! It was actually as simple as popping open the hood and reaching behind it to remove a cover and switching out the bulb. He didn't even call me when the job was done(the place was completely empty with no cars being worked on). I can imagine it only took 20 mins max. He ultimately charged me $80 to change out the one headlight(I didn't dare ask why the price changed) and again I BROUGHT MY OWN BULBS. Thought these guys were down as they've helped me out in the past but I've lost total trust in them. Will never set foot near this place again. read more

After receiving a quote verbally and agreed upon. When the invoice was presented it had additional fees NOT previously mentioned. When question the response was "I don't know, I just work here". We asked for answer a guy came from the back and said "those fees are for the use of our materials such as towels and cleaning products". The attitude was take or leave it. Finally an honest mechanic! I took my car in for the first time. Acctually, had to tow it in. Well, I have had many issues with my car and mechanics always seam to take advantage and many times have guessed at what is wrong, and charged me an arm and a leg, only to realize it wasn't that at all. On Monday of this,week as I mentioned, I had my car towed to this place. The check to see what was wrong was $60 something, and they said they'd call me with full estimate. A few hours later, the mechanic calls me to let me know that the issues were probably electrical, as there rrally wasn't anything else wrong. He said he could guess and fix what he thought, but that I'd most likely have to takr take it to the dealer, because they're better equipped to deal with these issues. Imagine my surprise with the honesty and him trying to be up front and honest and not scam me. I was VERY impressed. When I went in, he didn't even charge me to look at the car. I went in for an oil change early in the morning, asked the person at the reception why my sensor for the oil turned on if I am according to them using synthetic oil. I did my regular change on September towards the end and it has not been at least 3 full months and the sticker they put in the window says at 71k and the car is at 69k he said it was normal. Called me 5 minutes later to advised that I need a new battery and 2 new tires to what I exhale it is always the same thing at this place and this is where the story went sour he had the audacity to tell me that the next time I come to them they will not advised me of anything to what I got offended and obviously tried to talk but he got aggressive and loud talking over me. How dare he to tell me that? This is a place where I'm supposed to trust for my safety in a vehicle and apparently they don't care much about that! When I went to pick up my car he was trying to proof me that he was correct pulling the receipts for my battery that I bought from them looking straight at my face which at this point I did not feel comfortable talking to him since he was so rude by phone wonder what he would say in person and I am woman. Shortly after also brought the receipt for the tires that I bought from them and said look your warranty expired already only giving me an option of $ 20 discount on the tires... so this place is misleading the consumer with their products and warranties so sad because they used to be so kind before. I have been taking my Car here for many years. Service has always been Ok. It's convenient to me, and most of the other tire shops are also mediocre anyway. But last week I took my car to fix a flat under the road hazard warranty that I bought in April 2018. I took the Car on a Friday and on Monday my tire was flat again. When I took it back (after a couple of hours) Carlos called me and informed me that the tires was not repairable, that I needed a new one. I told them I had the road hazard (which they accepted to fix the flat three days before) and they told me the road hazard only covered the first year. I paid $160 for the new tire because I had to leave out of town and I trusted the guy, but since I found too strange, I sent an email to their Corporate office. Today I got an email saying that the road hazard extended warranty is for the life of the tire. So they gave me false information in order to sell me a new tire. Even though I had extended hazard insurance and the tire was 14 months old and with very low miles. I'm dealing directly with their Corporate office to resolve this and I hope they start honoring the warranties. read more

Tire Choice was recommended to my husband and he purchased some tires at the Kendall location. He was offered a "protection plan" in case something happened to the tires, and he was informed that in case anything happened to the tires and were damaged the tire in question would be replaced. He paid $12.00 for that "protection." I had a flat tire yesterday and went to a gas station. They informed me that had a flat tire and a hole and could not be fixed so I took the car to have the tire replaced as per the "protection." The protection gave me $28.00 towards the price of the tire and I ended paying $135.00 for a new one because from the date of purchase to this date, 22,000 miles have been put on the tire and that somehow the tire was damaged because it was bumped against a border. I think Tire Choice should be honest to its customers and frankly say that the "protection" simply is a way of getting an additional $12.00 out of each and every customer, if you add $12.00 to each customer that purchases that garbage, it adds up to many thousands of dollars, another way of stealing from the people that have to work so hard and always end up screwed by the big guys. I do not know what happened to honesty but just because you used 22,000 miles is not proof that the tire was roughed against a border. And by the way, I wonder why this place was so empty both times that I went there, could it be because the "protection" that they sell sucks? read more

The biggest thieves in Miami. If you come here expect to feel like they put their hands in your pocket. DO NOT COME HERE! My cars tire popped about 25 feet away from this shop so I walk over and the guy refuses to give me a price but guaranteed me he would give me a good price and help me out. I ask the tow truck to take the car there. Once I get there the tow truck leaves and then the mechanic starts working on my car. I go inside to sign the paperwork and after the tow truck leaves and I pay the driver and I'm stuck there with no tire, he gives me the price, $160.00 FOR ONE TIRE. I inquired about the price and if they had a more economic option and he proceeded to say "No, if you don't take it you're screwed". RELUCTANTLY I signe the paperwork and had these thieves replace the tire. The next day out of curiosity I called and ask for a quote on my tire size and I was quoted $95.00. Worst place to come for any type of service. Whether it's a simple oil change or getting your tires replaced. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I scheduled an appointment for a certain time (3PM) and when I got there at scheduled time they said they couldn't take me in. My work and school schedule is very hectic so I only had 2 hours to get my oil change. An oil change shouldn't take longer than an hour and a half so when the guy at the front told me he couldn't take me for another hour I explained to him that I couldn't wait that I had an appointment and he said there was nothing he can do. I was very disappointed when they told me that they couldn't assist me because they were packed up already. What's the point of making an appointment when you're not going to fulfill when the person gets there?? I urge people to stay away from this shop unless you're trying to waste a full day just to get a service that should only take no more than 2 hours. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I got here due to a good price to change my front tires and breaks. When i got out of here the car was smeling like burning rubber and was shaking like earthquake after 55 miles per hour. I gave MANNIE a call he told me to go on south beach and check it out there. I spend 2 days on sobe and they r like everything is fine. So i said IS IT? After we did a loop around the go its probably the caliper so go back to mannie. The 3rd day after good research online i went to Mannie. He told me right away is the caliper. Around 500$. His plan was to change everything cuz like that ill save on labor. If not his plan was to take part by part untill we replace all of them. So i told him to pull out the wheels and open up and clean the caliper (BIG THANKS TO YOUTUBE) so he was pissed while he was doing it. So i got out of there and be told me be carefull is the calliper. So i drove from kandell to downtown all good. No burning smell or hot rims. But the shaking was still there. I asked him and he told me is cuz the caliper is locking up. But according to all google and youtube thats shoudnt be the case. I went to another auto shop and explained the whole thing. He said let me check if they r balanced. They ware off for like 3/4 inches. He balance them for 30$ and that was it. So i tried to change my tires and breaks. I and up a week going to mechanic checks. Mannie tried to squeze me an extra 300/500$. So not fair!!!!!!!! Just avoid if you dont wanna have headache!!! read more
