Tessa (Pocatello location) was fantastic to work with over the phone and in person--patient,…read morehelpful, and conscientious. After confirming she had the parts we needed in stock and quoting me the best possible price, she pulled the items and had them waiting for me on a cart when I arrived. She went the extra mile and loaded them into the back of my vehicle for me on a cold, windy day. She was happy, friendly--very good at her job! I appreciated the super service.

Use to always prefer Napa as my one place to trust buying parts for whatever my car needs, seems…read moresome parts were direct from the Manufacturer. not anymore! A year ago I bought the air filter for a car and it was in sale thinking I was getting a smashing deal, I bought it, opened it to find the cheap $10 one you can snag at Walmart. But seeing how I paid less than what Walmart sold it for, i'd let it slide. Well maybe that was a warning, and I chose to ignore it. I bought a battery on July 27th 2020 for a car, I bought it knowing it was more expensive than competitors in town, but I liked the warranty attached (24 months) Well 6 months later the battery is shot, and they want original sales receipt before they will warranty the battery. forget I can see the charge on my bank statement, It's the only thing I bought from Napa in the past year (or longer), and forget the manufacture date on the battery is from April of 2020, and forget the top of battery being marked when it was purchased. And to add insult to injury I can't even log into my online account to see if it shows on there. Done everything I can think of to reset the password but the account is now locked, the icing on the cake with that is I regularly get NAPA's weekly ads but have yet to get the email to reset my password. When you consider that every one of NAPA's competitors will record your info and if you have any issues in the warranty period you just need to show up with the battery and tell them your name. I have called customer service twice now and have not heard a single word back. So jumpstarting a car every day isn't my idea of fun, with that in mind, Today I made two pledges. 1. I made a monetary pledge to another business for a car battery I need. 2. I pledge to NEVER buy or recommend NAPA AUTO PARTS for auto needs especially anything with a warranty. All this just has a very negative tone so I suppose I'll add a positive to all of this: I'm positive NAPA must be going out of business with how much of a pain it is to even get a response on my warranty issue. Even a response of "no" is better than not responding at all. And I have a working battery for my car finally.

The Good: Made good on the warranty on my Ever Start Platinum battery…read more Needs Improvement: I'd called and had spoken to someone(in the auto center) about the battery having tested low by an oil change place. I was told if they (Walmart) found it to be "bad", they'd replace it. I said, okay, I'll bring it in. Long story short -- they wouldn't / couldn't test it while it was still in the car without me making an appointment. (They aren't like AutoZone or O'Reilly's -- who will test it with a portable device.) ) They should have told me that on the phone call. Result was I wasted gas and my time showing up w/o an appointment. When I brought in just the battery a day later, it took an hour and a half for them to test and try to "restore" the battery. Bottom Line -- I have had good experiences dealing with Walmart on batteries that failed under warranty. (Like failing in the last 2 weeks over being under warranty!) Walmarts are everywhere, so it's easy to get warrany assistance everywhere. I'm displeased with the assistance from this Chubbuck Walmart but I'll continue to buy batteries from Walmart given that it's turned out okay in the end.

I was sitting in the tire lane and a lady walks up and I told her what had happened. She immediately checked my tires and was so incredibly friendly . She even looked under my vehicle to make sure nothing was leaking or that I didn't break anything . She did find a nail in one of my tires and carefully took it out . Luckily It didn't go all the way through . She caught it right in time before any further damage. I was so grateful for her help. I didn't get her name but she had blonde hair and was wearing a hat. We need more humans like this around . Thank you so much for your exceptional customer service .

They are OK...ish... I almost feel like I donated them half a star. I feel like they do belong…read moreright in the very middle. For the area they are very decent and have some oils, filters, lawnmower batteries and other parts that are priced not above their market value which is the great plus. Some automotive stores here sell overpriced parts that can be bought cheaper even in the suburbs of Chicago where the official median income is $70000 per household compared to $42000 in Poky. The only thing they might need to work on is their customer service skills. First I think they try too hard on overselling stuff I am a simple man and I do not drive a $60 000 car so trying to charge me $80 for 2 air filters sounds unreasonable especially after I mentioned to sale's dude that usual price is about $30 for both your rep tells me that I am mistaken and that is what the current prices are for air filters I understand how sales works and someone has to purchase the expensive items as well, but after a customer demonstrates some knowledge and asks you about a particular item the attempts to keep pushing the overpriced crap should be abolished in my opinion. Another thing is we all exist in time and space and plan our limited precious time on Earth in a certain way. If I call your store I am trying to save me some time and I do not have all day otherwise I would have stopped by personally, waited in line and asked in person, so when I have few minutes to spare and call you during my short break and your rep answers with "Hello, can you hold I am with the customer " it certainly raises my eyebrows. And who do you really think am I to you? Sorry if I sent the wrong message, but I don't wanna be your friend and I don't wanna be your lover. Just another customer who might go elsewhere where the reps got time to answer the phone calls they pick, you know. That simple. If you are too busy to answer the phone call, why would you pick up the phone? If you are with another customer finish what you are doing and then pick up the phone or call me back. While trying to be with 2 customers at once you are just risking of losing them both. Designate a dude to answer the phone or something. All I wanted to know was if you guys have the item in stock and ended up purchasing it elsewhere.
