I said, "A left wheel bearing? Are you sure?" They told me with certainty that it needed to be done. It was shot. I said I would call back. After hanging up I went thru my records and saw that they charged me $1,100 for a left wheel bearing and right control arm in Dec 2024. The only difference was that the car was under my name in Dec, and under my husbands name in Sept, so they didn't realize they had already done it and not that long ago. When I called back they sort of fumbled and said that it must have been a faulty wheel bearing and that it happens from time to time but that it was under warranty and to come back to have it done. So after a lot of coordinating to bring it back after getting the engine done somewhere else, we got it in this Tuesday only to get a call a few hours later that said, "Your left wheel bearing is fine. You don't need one." To which I said, "Then how were you so certain it needed to be done before?" They didn't have a clear answer. Without going more into detail, I don't trust this establishment and have since heard very similar experiences from others.

My truck is getting some age on it so I really like to care that Twin City gives me the really nice people they work hard and they take good care of you. I set up my appointment via text as well, and it was about 10 or so days out, but it didn't even take them half the day to finish the work, and best of all, they realized I didn't need a certain part installed so the cost ended up being significantly less than what they quoted originally. If that isn't evidence of a very honest operation, I don't know what is. Highly recommend Twin City!
