When I walked in it was ghost town. I could not hear any staff shuffling around or see anyone behind the counters or shelves. After I walked in to aisles deep I saw one rep. She didnt greet me when she saw me because she was in the middle of stocking the shelves. When I approached her she was willing to help me and she was just that. She was helpful. I was looking for some tail light bulbs and she made it very easy and quick. Lexy also informed me about their return and refund policy. I was alil taken back that if you open the bulb wrapping then their is no return. Even if you don't use them. Business is Business I guess. read more

I rarely if ever head to an auto parts any more. But I found myself needing oil for a vehicle. Nothing is ever as simple as it would seem. I just needed 2 quarts of SAE 30HD. There wasn't a lot of oil on the shelves in the first place. But there was '0' of the type I needed. At one time this was the most common weight oil. Evidently manufacturers have moved on from that with the newer engines. But there are plenty of older ones still out there. But this was not going to happen here. And NO ONE even cares that you are in their store. Poor customer service seems to be a trade mark at this store since it has been bad the last couple times I darkened their doors. read more

This is my go to shop for parts. Today, Mark A helped me with wiper selection and replacement for my truck. Seems there are a lot of options these days and the wipers are confusing to replace. You know, for an auto parts store with no ASE Certified parts guys that I could see, they are fairly knowledgeable here. There is one gentleman, I cannot remember his name, he has a ponytail, and his name is not common like it's Cedar, or Air, or something unique. He's a good guy. He knows his parts, and he changed out the wipers on my vehicle in a minute. Sweet, because I don't like changing out blades anyways. The nice thing, is there are easy to get to/from. I thought my old Ford had a bad battery. I brought it in, I didn't realize it was purchased at an Advanced in Colorado. They looked at it and knew it was theirs. They put it on the charger overnight to see if it would take a charge before they changed it out. No questions asked... Good place to go and this months special is a free bottle of Blinker Fluid. read more

When I responded in kind he try to escalate all the way out the door and into the parking lot. Not a great store. Purchased Spark Plugs for my vehicle and one actually broke inside cylinder and created misfire. I took it back and the clerk didn't want to replace or refund, claimed he didn't have one in stock. Sent me to another store but address wasn't even legit. I had to call around and found one and they replaced plug but it was on other aide of town. Unfortunately I went back for brighter/whiter headlight bulbs and after talking another idiot clerk who told me they are much whiter, replace one headlight and it was basically same yellow look. I took back to exchange or refund and manager pointed to sign (to cover their arse) that no refund on electrical parts. I would have been nice your clerk mentioned that before I spent 50.00 dollars. I will not shop any Advanced Auto, they are just as crooked as AutoZone. read more

I purchased an Optima Yellow Top battery on May 16th and by July 13, it failed. Thinking it could not be the battery and possibly an alternator issue, I took it to the dealer. They inspected the full system and said the only thing that they could find is a defective battery. It was only providing 8 volts! That's right, after less than 2 months my +$300 battery was a paper weight. The dealership replaced my battery and I went straight to Advanced Auto Parts (281 N) to request a refund. Unfortunately they refused the refund and would only provide me a new battery, which didn't help me at all. This was an unsurprising conclusion to already bad experience with this store. At the purchase, they refused to install the battery. When I asked why they would promote that they promote that they would change a battery when that was not true, I was told "We change it for some cars, just not the car that you have". I hope your experience is different than mine. In the future there is no way that Advanced Auto Parts will get my business. They've earned a visit at the competing store down the road. read more

They installed the battery very quickly for free, we're very kind during the installation, and stuck around to make sure everything worked well. Very good experience! read more

So I called this morning to make sure that this store had the battery I needed for my car. The agent I spoke with did quickly check for me and let me know that they did have it in stock however they would not be able to install it. When I asked why he informed me that they "just didn't ". I let him know that I had purchased several batteries there and they did in fact install every one. He replies that they usually do but not with my model vehicle. When I asked why he said " My system is just telling me that we don't install this one". I asked further and he explained that " some are just too difficult or complicated ". My battery is located between my front passenger seat and the seat behind it. It only requires a hex driver to remove ONE screw. So I took it to my dealership Cavender who EVERYONE there has ALWAYS been wonderful and got a new battery. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! After limping my truck in with a low battery on a Sunday afternoon, Tyler came outside and tested it. We thought it just needed a charge, so Tyler removed my old battery (after having to take apart half my truck to get to it - thanks GM). When he tried to charge it, though, it didn't work.
