The parts are definitely less expensive than other places we've been to and you don't have to take apart anything yourself, which is a big time saver. i guess as customers...you aren't allowed to purchase products online yourself and have them…read moreinstalled by their "professionals". they want to purchase all products at discounted rates and charge the customer wholesale pricing for additional profits, along with their labor costs. dealt with them a few years back when they were having financial uncertainity...i bought my window deflectors...roll bar that was soft cover compatiable with my nissan frontier...with help from tom...and had no problem having them installed...how times have changed..i also noted that they had no bronco accessories or bronco pictures on there website...i quess they don't service ford bronco accessories...only jeep and trucks...i also noted that their ratings have decreased since 2023...since i brought my truck there...it doesnt surprise me with the owners poor and greety attitude...i'd take my business elsewhere...it's not the place it use to be.

I bought a Leer truck bed fiberglass Lid from them. It took 13 weeks to come in. I paid $2,850 for…read moreit. I was happy with the Lid until I discovered it was leaking at the front of the Lid where the front gasket is attached to the Lid. I called them and they said for me to bring it in which I did. I explained to them that the water was coming in between the seal and the lid. I left the truck and they called me 2-1/2 hours later and said the truck was done. They told me everything was good to go. After I looked at the lid when I got home I couldn't see anything that they had done but I took them at their word. Well the next big rain We had I saw that the leak was still there. I then took a video of the leak. I called them again and explained again about the leak and told them I had a video of the leak. I talked to Tom the installer. He told me "great that would help tremendously. I made an appointment to get the leak fixed AGAIN. When I went back I talked to the owner and showed him the video. He started telling me there was nothing he could do but to send the entire lid back to Leer which I found unacceptable. He told me about the only thing they could do was to put some silicone caulking across the seal. When Tom the installer brought the truck around I looked where they were supposed to put the caulking and the only placed they caulked was the pop rivet heads. I asked Tom why he didn't caulk all the way across the seal, he said "there's tape behind the seal". I said I know that's exactly where it's leaking at. He said I don't know then. I said Never mind, I'll fix it myself. MY ADVISE TO ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW IS TO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM VALLEY TRUCK OUTFITTERS! THEY WOULD'NT TAKE CARE OF A WARRANTED PRODUCT THAT THEY SELL UNLESS THEY SEND IT BACK TO THE FACTORY WHERE IT CAME FROM WHICH THE OWNER SAID WOULD TAKE A LONG TIME. SO AFTER FOUR TRIPS FROM NILES TO POLAND I STILL HAVE A LEAK.

Not having the knowledge to know the difference between AWD and FWD - not good if youre in the vehicle repair business. 2. Not offering any kind of apology when it was YOUR mistake, just bad manners. 3. They list their parts on a popular national salvage yard database, a subset of which is this yard's inventory. You can see their inventory on their website, as well. The part I needed was clearly described, and at a great price. So I called. The clerk I spoke with, Adam, was friendly and efficient. He quoted a very reasonable price to ship the item, and promised to pull and ship the part the next day, as it was very close to the end of the day. This clarity as to what they would do, and when they would do it, followed the whole transaction. I called again to make sure that the pull went well. As every time I called, they gave me the full story in about one minute's time. I called again after they had shipped, and they promptly reported the UPS tracking number. They pulled the part Monday. Here it is Wednesday, and my car is in perfect working order. I'm off to pick up a date, and proud to be driving a car I fixed. Would use again in a heartbeat.

This will be the second carburetor (Holley 4160) that Craig Woodruff has repaired for me. (the last…read moreone was 20+ years ago.). Excellent, knowledgeable service (he actually answers the phone and returns all calls!). I wish I had sent the carburetor in earlier, and saved myself some aggravation. But, as Craig said years ago, "90% of all carburetor problems are in the ignition system", so I chased all of those down first, but it was, in fact, the carburetor. I got the carb promptly back from his repair, he made a suggestion for a change in timing, and returned all of my old parts. I bolted the carb on, warmed her up and advanced the timing; now that '67 'Vette runs better than it has in years! I'm ecstatic. Nicely done and highly recommended. steve meltzer
