My husband and I have both worked in the auto industry do we already the tire sizes were able to be swapped, and for that matter both our vehicles are front wheel drive! My husband asked to see the vehicles while they were in the air (to double check), and sure enough FWD. He asked the girl who checked us in if she could just let tech know to double check before they give customers wrong info. She pulled the tech aside and told us tell him yourself, so my husband did. Tech had nothing to say except "ok" and gave him a dirty look. There was no "hey we were wrong we apologize"... just nothing. When cars were done my husband tried to tell the tech have a good day and he walked away and didnt even acknowledge him. We came here because ive been a customer in the past and never had an issue. 1. Not having the knowledge to know the difference between AWD and FWD - not good if youre in the vehicle repair business. 2. Not offering any kind of apology when it was YOUR mistake, just bad manners. 3. Walking away and not acknowledging a customer who was polite but pointed out your mistake and told you that you were wrong - unprofessional. We wont be back.

I showed up at a…read morescheduled 7:00 a.m. appointment and Firestone didn't have the battery and weren't going to be able to get the battery until at least 9:00 a.m. It was getting late and I needed to get to work. I went to Advance Auto on Belmont Avenue (before the store opened) and the General Manager Rob Rudolph was able to replace my battery (a difficult path to replace the battery) within 10-15 minutes. He even gave me the best price the store had. I'll send all my car business to Advance - - their general manager Rob rocks.

Being from out of state (MD), I was stressed trying to figure out what was wrong with my car, especially with being a college student. The manager here was awesome--super quick to figure out the problem, explained everything clearly, and was just a great guy to talk to. He was way more helpful than any of the other shops I went to. To put it in perspective: AutoZone told me my alternator was messed up (which wasn't true) and clearly didn't want to bother with replacing the battery in my 2019 Chevy Trax. Firestone wanted to charge me $40 just to check the battery--without even telling me beforehand--but ended up waiving it since they never mentioned it up front. Advanced Auto Parts is amazing. They replaced my battery and were quick about it, but this shop stood out the most because of the honesty, professionalism, and real support I got here. On top of that, the guy I spoke with is a badass Marine--his work ethic and straightforward attitude definitely show. If you want something done quickly, honestly, and in a friendly, hardworking environment, this is the place to go.

i guess as customers...you aren't allowed to purchase products online yourself and have them…read moreinstalled by their "professionals". they want to purchase all products at discounted rates and charge the customer wholesale pricing for additional profits, along with their labor costs. dealt with them a few years back when they were having financial uncertainity...i bought my window deflectors...roll bar that was soft cover compatiable with my nissan frontier...with help from tom...and had no problem having them installed...how times have changed..i also noted that they had no bronco accessories or bronco pictures on there website...i quess they don't service ford bronco accessories...only jeep and trucks...i also noted that their ratings have decreased since 2023...since i brought my truck there...it doesnt surprise me with the owners poor and greety attitude...i'd take my business elsewhere...it's not the place it use to be.

I bought a Leer truck bed fiberglass Lid from them. It took 13 weeks to come in. I paid $2,850 for…read moreit. I was happy with the Lid until I discovered it was leaking at the front of the Lid where the front gasket is attached to the Lid. I called them and they said for me to bring it in which I did. I explained to them that the water was coming in between the seal and the lid. I left the truck and they called me 2-1/2 hours later and said the truck was done. They told me everything was good to go. After I looked at the lid when I got home I couldn't see anything that they had done but I took them at their word. Well the next big rain We had I saw that the leak was still there. I then took a video of the leak. I called them again and explained again about the leak and told them I had a video of the leak. I talked to Tom the installer. He told me "great that would help tremendously. I made an appointment to get the leak fixed AGAIN. When I went back I talked to the owner and showed him the video. He started telling me there was nothing he could do but to send the entire lid back to Leer which I found unacceptable. He told me about the only thing they could do was to put some silicone caulking across the seal. When Tom the installer brought the truck around I looked where they were supposed to put the caulking and the only placed they caulked was the pop rivet heads. I asked Tom why he didn't caulk all the way across the seal, he said "there's tape behind the seal". I said I know that's exactly where it's leaking at. He said I don't know then. I said Never mind, I'll fix it myself. MY ADVISE TO ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW IS TO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM VALLEY TRUCK OUTFITTERS! THEY WOULD'NT TAKE CARE OF A WARRANTED PRODUCT THAT THEY SELL UNLESS THEY SEND IT BACK TO THE FACTORY WHERE IT CAME FROM WHICH THE OWNER SAID WOULD TAKE A LONG TIME. They are remanufactured and will sometimes reuse old solenoids even tho the part picture shows the older dark ones and not the new ones. I called around to see if I could find a store with the older solenoids, and the store out in 4801 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515 still has one of the black ones not yellow. Waiting for my case to be resolved so I can come back for an exchange once they figure out it is in fact their part. I've been having a lots of problems getting faulty injectors from Advanced Auto I've also been through 2 HPOPs within a year before from them and decided to go online and pay extra for an Adrenaline HPOP for my 7.3, and so far so good. I'm very busy running a very successful business, and now I have no way of commuting until my case is resolved. Advanced Auto you have really let me down yet again, and did a frequent customer dirty. This seems absurd since the complaint was about their location and the fact that they told me it was warranty, then lied and said they would not stand by their word, and then wanted to put it against my insurance again. Safelite used to be a great company. I assume margins and greed have taken over your ethics. Now my car sits going on three weeks with busted windshield.
