I had a very horrifying experience going there. I was treated with disregard, unprofessionalism, and borderline disdain. Then some one from the far far ways from the hallways yelled asking :" do you have to go to the bathroom ?" I didn't know to whom she was referring to. Then I heard my name yelled still from the far end of the hallway. How horrible. I was in the waiting room with other people and had to yell back from afar. Later when I entered the room, the person did not give me any guidance as to what to do. When I questioned, asking what to do, things just got worst. I walked right out. They were acting like chickens without a head running around and as a client it was like I wasn't there nor was treated with dignifying regard and professionalism. I came here a few months ago for my first ever "open" colon hydrotherapy session. This place is located on the second floor of a big plaza, with ample parking. The receptionist was very cheerful and kind. She showed me to my room and instructed me on what to do before leaving. Since this is the first place I've been to for colon hydrotherapy, I don't have anything to compare it to. However, the place was clean and tidy -- which is most important. They are also very mindful of what they recommend so it is a little more limited than the other location as far as recommendations. Made an appointment for 2pm Saturday. I got there 15 minutes early knowing I was a new customer and would probably need to fill something out. I sat there until 2:15 (30 minutes) no one ever even came to the reception window. I walked out right after 2:15. I had also called twice earlier that afternoon to confirm the address and apt time no one answered the phone. There is a note that says to take a seat and they'll be with you, but I would assume that after being there for 30 minutes some one could at least pop out and say hello and that they realize you are there and waiting. read more

When I first thought of having a colonic done, it made me think of all the ways you could be uncomfortable. Which held me off from getting one sooner. I had my first colonic here and I was so wrong on everything I had originally thought. I first voice how nervous I was and the therapist put my mind at ease and made sure that I was completely comfortable before starting. The atmosphere is great, the rooms are clean and just so, and the music is relaxing as well. I didn't really know what to expect, it's one thing to do research on YouTube and reading on the internet then it is to have it done for yourself because everyone is different and everyone releases differently. The therapist informed me of the things we were seeing as the service continued, which I was thankful for. After the service was completed I felt good, I even felt as tho I had more energy which is awesome because I'm always tired. I've been to two other Hydrocolonic spots in Claremont in the past but IMO this place in Rancho was so much better. Deah was the sweetest from start to finish. She's also one of the cutest pregnant girls I've met. I felt comfortable and didn't feel rushed at all. I had the closed system done and it took a full hour. From what she said, it's a family operated business that's been around for over a decade. I also loved how she didn't try to push any products on me. In fact, just because of all the helpful Information she shared, I decided to buy their April package special for $199 (3 closed system colonics). It's considered a process to get the results I want but I immediately felt better after the procedure and already scheduled my next one in the next 2 weeks to come. I even tried the ear candling after the colonic just to see if it's something I would like. I probably can do without that and I'll just stick to colonics instead. Thanks again. I called ADC today to see if I can schedule a last minute appointment. It's a Saturday so I was really hoping for an opening. Pilar answered and asked if I was a new customer but I told her I was not. She said she would be able to take new customers only today. I told her I was going to write a negative review since she refused to see me just because I wasn't new to their business. She agreed to see me today and ended up rescheduling me. I felt pretty apprehensive about coming in but after vacation I've been feeling really bloated lately. I have to say, I am GLAD I went ahead and saw her. She included the coffee additive and after a couple flushes and pressure point massages, I feel so much better. I can give my experience with Pilar 2 stars after having a 5 star experience elsewhere. I went in for my first colonic in January and didn't know what to expect. I walked in and the seating area was small, only for 2 people and it seemed to be operated by Pilar who was the only person there. They are an appointment only facility. Filled out paperwork, went to the room, she left me a pair of black shorts asked me to change from the waist down and lay down. When she returned to the room she asked a few questions and proceeded to stick the tube in the wrong area. How is this possible? When I told her it wasn't in the right area, she apologized and told me she doesn't look. That was comforting...not. She proceeded to tell me my insides were poisoned and that my intestines were that of an 80 year old woman! She had to fill my insides up with water for 15 minutes before anything started to break loose. The feeling of the water filling me up was like a burning (not fire but warm like you have to poop) sensation IN YOUR GUT, NOT YOUR BUTT. She said in a healthy colon, the waste should flush within the first 5 minutes. It took another 10 min of water filling me up for the waste to start to pass through. She kept massaging my stomach and rocking me side to side telling me to relax. She said my colon wasn't working properly and basically closed shut. She recommended I drink half of my body weight in ounces a day so that my intestines are hydrated. Wanted me to come back in 3 weeks. Recommended no meat, soda, nor alcohol for 3 weeks. Told me to thank my coworker for the referral because it saved my life. Ha. She was laying it on real thick but there was some truth to it. The session was 30 minutes of irrigation and then another 30 minutes of me on the toilet (at their facility). I finished there, she recommended a daily probiotic and I left. After having a much more pleasant and calming experience at Florade Wellness Center in Studio City, I won't be back to Pilar. She was too dramatic for my taste. read more

My husband and I had been feeling more tired than usual. We had recently moved across country, so we thought it was a "by-product" of all things moving-related. We eat well, but don't get the exercise that we should. We discussed several options before deciding to get colonics. I called to see if we could schedule our appointments at the same time, and Pilar was able to accommodate us the next day. When we arrived, we weren't sure what to expect. She was able to administer the colonic to one of us while the other was in the room. Everything was clean and modest, there was no smell, and she adhered to stringent sanitized procedures. The actual process -- as well as learning about what lurks inside of you -- was quite fascinating. It took a few days to feel a difference, but it DID kick in. Plus, we have been sharing the experience with others and encouraging them to have it done. Pilar advised that we come back in about four weeks for another session, which we will do. I just experienced my first colonic.. Let's just say my experience , I don't feel bloated like I used to anymore which is awesome. While doing this, I've learned a lot about changing my eating habits. The therapist informed me of the what and what not to eat, she' was a sweetheart.
