He looked over my car and said that the power steering pump is leaking slightly and could be replaced, but its wasn't necessary right now if I was short on money. He quoted me $250 lower than the other shop to have the heater hose and distributor replaced! . I appreciate Luis's honesty in what repairs were needed for my car and for being more more affordable. I had no CEL's before going in. Not less than 10 minutes after leaving light comes on. Little do they know I keep a reader on hand. Get home, check, boom P0130. Look underneath and magically my O2 sensor loosened and is still in the bung but wobbling around. Re-tightened the sensor, cleared the code. Good for the last 100+ miles. The fat fu*k who performed the inspection should be canned, but he'd probably just find another job at another inspection place ripping people off. I previously had a good experience here. Never again. Hope it was worth the filter upsell and windshield wipers. I can't wait till they get rid of shiesty f*cks like these places. If it wasn't for the few measly dollars you bring in for the State your ass would be out of business in a heartbeat. Good thing it's pretty easy to find other inspection stations.
