Went in on a Saturday. Hot and humid and miserable. These guys were as friendly and courteous as could be given the conditions they were working in. Excellent service and that military discount is a bonus as always. read more

Quickly in and acknowledged by staff even though all the bays were full. Took about 15 minutes. Even gots new cabin air filter for half of what the dealer charges. About 25% more than the dealer but no appointment and no waiting half a day for a simple oil change. I will be back next oil change. read more

My husband was in the military for 38 years. I have been going to minute man for over 20 years, all my vehicles were serviced there. U have records of my vehicles and know my husband was a veteran, I am his widowed wife. The manager of the shop on staples did not want to give me my military discount, because i did not have my card. I told him to look in his computer to check all my records and see that i always received my discount. Haelon the mgr. told me that corporate stopped the discount unless i could prove it. Because anybody can say they are veterans. I told him bull give me there # and name. He told me he couldnt do that. I asked to give me his boss's name& #. He refuse, said for me to give him my # and he would call me. I told him i would not come back anymore, so he went ahead and gave me the discount this time. He also told me, the discount is only $1.00 more. The only reason he gave me the discount was because he had already started changing my oil. So corporate U were thrown under the bus. He also told me u were coming to do ur walk thru. FYI 5min.oil had people waiting to have their oil chged. Taking advantage of women. The first time I went there, couldn't rotate my tires or check the air bc I had wheel covers... they pop right off! I go to get my car inspected and the man stated that my headlights are too foggy and he would not be able to pass me.. my car passed the inspection down the road with them same headlights not even 5 minutes later. Went in for an inspection and the guy was very rude and told us we needed to spend 89 dollars in order to pass inspection. Then told me that he was the only one there that we needed to leave since he was going to fail us anyway. He didn't even look at the car. I will never go back there. Taking advantage of l customers is wrong. Especially since I can clean with 9 dollar solution from Walmart. Entitled man should not be In customer service I wish I knew his name.​ read more

They changed my daughters oil this week and didnt close the truck lid. It flipped up while she was driving denting the lid and cracking the windshield. They refuse to admit they did not shut the hood all the way til the latch caught. They wont pay anything toward a new windshield or truck hood. Slimely management here.... read more

Came to get an inspection and the man was so rude. I never complain like this because I understand people have bad days, but the way he talks to customers is unacceptable. Everything started out great. They were polite and let me know there would be a short wait. They did my oil change and state inspection. When it came time to pay, I presented a $5 coupon from their website along with my credit card. They said thank you and said they would apply the discount. When they returned with my receipt, they did not apply the discount! They said I had already been charged and they could not figure out how to charge me the correct amount (after I waited for upwards of 30 minutes for them to figure out why they couldn't reverse the charge). Unacceptable. I did not authorize what they charged. I haven't heard anything from them since even though they said they would continue to try to figure it out. He also couldn't clear my maintenance reminder from my car's message screen. I've never had service providers have trouble with this in the past. read more

Probably the worst oil change service I've experienced. We sat 22 minutes until they even started on ours and had already started on another vehicle that came in after us. The youngest tech didn't know how to get the air filter out so he just told us it was "kind of dirty" and wanted to know if we wanted to replace it... Nope. Haven't seen it to tell you! Our "ten minit" oil change was about a "35 minit" one. Not a fan. read more

I absolutely love this place and usually go to the one on Staples... I was extremely surprised and disappointed that the management is making these men wear masks out in the heat! And they had to ask us, sitting in the car, to put masks on to just sit in the car! It was arbitrary and seems to go BEYOND what the law/mandates... It is OPEN AIR and we were definitely more than 6 feet away for the majority of the trans action... I do not fault businesses that have no choice but to ask customers to wear masks but when I find someone seemingly surpassing what they have to do I am very disappointed that they would make that choice. To me it shows a lack of concern for the employees as it is very hot! I can't say anything bad about the gentlemen who served us, they were classy and polite, but I am very disappointed in the management who sit from afar making their employees and customers live with these nonsensical restrictions! read more

I've lived in Corpus for 3 years now and this location is the only one I'll ever use, the guys are always super helpful and polite. They'll make you laugh and joke around while still getting everything done quick, I'm never here longer than 10 or 20 minutes depending on how busy they are. Reminds me of the good down-home people I'm used to from living in a rural area, rare to find here in Corpus. The pricing is always good, they dont try to haggle you or push you into a bunch of unnecessary purchases, just honest about what your vehicle may need now or soon. I will never go back to the store on staples. Went in Mon for an oil change and changing all filters. Driving home from work ( glad it was dark do i could the oil light) Started making strange noise. I took my car to the airline store to find out jason from the staples store piut the wrong gasket on and i lost all my oil.Adrien at airline savedy car. Dont go to staples or let Jason work on your car, he is abviously very incompetent..WARNING. I would rate him a 0 if i could. Needs to be fired. read more

New to Corpus. Never been to a Minit Man and didn't know how it worked. Pulled up and saw sign that said wait for attendant so i waited patiently in my car. It was 30 min before anyone even acknowledged me and another 45 min before i was done and good to go. I like the convenience of staying in my car although it prob gets very toasty in full summer. My entire service was obviously way more than a minute but in their defense they were extremely busy. Aprox 4-5 cars ahead of me. Once i was seen both mechanics i interacted with were very friendly and easy going. I feel i was given an up-sell on oil treatment but since i was 700 miles past my oil change i went ahead and bought it. If they up-sell me again at my next scheduled oil change ill know it's a sham and wont accept it. I would suggest they make a bigger effort to at least make eye contact with each vehicle in line. Let us know you know we're here - that's all it takes for most of us. This aside i stand by my 4 star rating and will be back to location on staples next to Arbys. read more
