This shops associates are downright skilled in what they do and they'll bend over backward to get a vaporizer up and running. After going to another shop and having problems getting the right coil I came here knowing I needed a real service pro. They are calm courteous and take time to satisfy a client and they also love to see people show off their vaping skills. I strongly recommend the shop. Prices are extremely competitive to the low market side and I will be favoring this store in my future transactions Thanks for adding a new "home store" for me to shop at. Not a great experience here. The shop is decently sized and in a great, easily accessible location. But, the good stuff ends there. For its size, the store is BARE. And while aesthetics aren't a selling point if the product quality is fine, they can be a turn off to potential customers. It's the first vape shop I've been in that didn't have AT LEAST a few chairs to sit in and have customers lounge. Granted, I don't utilize the lounge in any other shop, but it's nice to see owners that want their customers to feel that they can hang out, learn some vaping knowledge and meet like-minded people. Now, when we ventured into the store, we immediately noticed the sample juices. A decent selection but all the juices were in topless tanks with a rubber cap that didn't cover the tank, just the post. Meaning, dust and other nasty things were able to get right into the juice. To sample, one has to use one of the mouthpieces next to the juices. No drip tip condoms or sanitizer or anything. Just used mouthpieces. No thank you. The only employee working had two set of customers in front of us. The woman he was helping asked him to change the head on her iClear 16 and she went to the bathroom as he did it. How about showing your customer how to accomplish such an easy thing instead of forcing her to come back the next time it needs a replacement. She asked him how to clean the 16. A cold water rinse was all she was told. No mention of disassembly, warm water, pat-drying the wicks, performing dry burns, using vodka, or any other tried and true methods. He was then asked about PG/VG ratios and gave a bland answer along the lines of, "PG is throat hit and VG is vapor." Not technically WRONG, but there's so much more to it than that. Next up was a couple buying the wife her first e-cig. She wanted a flavor that tasted just like a cigarette (*facepalm* but that's not the shop's fault.) He recommends a tobacco blend and says that it does. Her response was exactly what I was expecting: "No. No this doesn't." Finally, it's our turn. I asked if they carried 510 atomizers for dripping, bridged or not and he says they don't carry them. I've only heard that from mall kiosks. Never an "actual" vape shop. Fine. I asked if they had any iClear 16 or 30 heads. They were totally sold out of both. Now, that's totally understandable. Those sell out quickly. But then, he used the excuse, "There's a logistics issue with our supplier." Well, that just means one thing: Find a new or alternate supplier! All in all, a very underwhelming let-down of an experience. read more

I've shopped here 3 or 4 times in the last 6 months and while my first visit was fine, I've noticed a steady (and rather drastic) downward decline in the level of customer service. My most recent visit on Sunday, February 9 and my experience was absolutely ABYSMAL. I was made to feel like I was intruding on the employees' vaping/hanging with friends time. There were 2 people working when I walked in, and while one was ringing up customers, the other was hanging with his buddies. Now, I can forgive the guy who was actually working -- I can wait while someone finishes with the customer ahead of me -- but for the second employee to look at me, NOT bother to greet me or ask to help, but then go back to sitting around vaping with his friends is inexcusable. Now, I am making a bit of assumption here, but considering the fact that they weren't talking about any product or testing any samples and left shortly after I came in without making a purchase, I can only assume they weren't active customers, but friends of the employee sitting with them. The other employee, when he was done with the previous sale, then came over and said "Yeah?" to me -- apparently that's how they now say "What can I get for you today?" Talk about a turn off. I needed 3 items, which I acquired; however, when I first walked in, I had the intention of trying some new liquids with an intent to purchase, and also had some questions about different tanks for my battery, again with the intent to purchase. Considering the attitude/work ethic portrayed by the employees in the first 5 minutes I was there, and considering the fact that I wasn't offered any additional service after asking for the 3 things I needed -- no, "Can I get you anything else today," no "Do you have any questions," no "Would you like to try out some new flavors." -- I made my purchase and left. I dropped $100 just for things I needed. Unfortunately, they not only lost out on a much larger sale, but they have also lost any future business from me. In the end, I feel like this place is run, or at least staffed, by people who are playing at running a business. I feel like the real purpose of the store is so they and their friends have a place to hang out. The desire to actually sell product and offer a service to the community is non-existent. I am a real fan, not just me, but my hubby and son. We have been treated very well, the staff is friendly and informative. They are patient and no heavy pressure here! They do have a lounge with TV, but really that is not the store's selling point. The variety of product and the attentive staff say it all. I have not smoked an analog cigarette since being educated on the use and savings by switching to vaping. I could not be happier. I have been here a number of times because it is the closest vape shop to my job. The products they have are good quality but the good news ends there. They are always out of product, both equipment and juice. I wanted a battery mod for a friend and the only variable volt they had was the $70 Itaste MVP model. A good mod but for a beginner way too much. How can they be out of smaller variable volt batteries entirely??? I did like one of their juice flavors but every time (3) I have gone back they never have it in 18 mg. The guy there suggests mixing 11mg and 24 mg 50/50 to get 18 mg. That's fine but I'd rather not have to buy two bottles of juice and have to mix them. The store is good sized but there is hardly anything in there. Very small selection and nowhere to sit and try juice flavors. The prices are also high, he charged me less than $15 for Kanger coils once and $20 the next time I went in. Why he decided to change the price and charge WAY to much for them is beyond me. I needed the coils so I had to buy them but that's just not right to change your price like that for no reason. I go to the store in Northbrook on Dundee, and both times I've been helped by Nathan. He's AWESOME! Very friendly patient and helpful. Truly, I've been to many other vapor stores, and as somebody whose fairly new (not a few year long vapor user) he is the best. I've always had the experience at other shops of being rushed or not really given any time of day, but Nathan is really cool and honest. Totally appreciate him and this store for existing! This is by far the best vape store. I have visited both the Lake Zurich and Northbrook locations, but regularly shop at the Northbrook store. Nate is very attentive. He remembers what you like and makes excellent recommendations. Very patient and makes sure you find what you like. There is an excellent variety and the staff is very knowledgeable. I used to love this place, I've been going to either location for years, but my last few visits have been really frustrating. I decided to try a different electronic e-cig product so of course I asked a bunch of questions and the guy behind the counter guided me with what he told me was the replacement coils for my new product, and I walked out spending around $100 bucks total (with the juice also). Fast forward to the first time I try to change my coil, I used the coils the guy told me to buy but my unit just kept blinking, I thought maybe I burnt the coil out so I replaced it with another new coil and again the same issue. A few days later I went back to the store and the same employee was there, I explained my issue and he told me that I had the wrong replacement coils?!? Ok now at this point I was upset because he sold me the coils and now he says I had to buy different ones?!? Oh and shocker he didn't recognize me either, so I'm already into this $100 bucks so I decided to purchase the other coils so hopefully I could get it to work.... I get home and what happens ... nothing same issue! So now I'm really mad and I decide to go to the other location in lake Zurich and speak to someone. So I stop there and I tell this other guy what happened, he looks at the unit and coils makes a call to the owner (I'm guessing) and comes back to tell me the guy at the other shop is brand new and doesn't know what he's talking about and was selling me salt (?) coils which would never work in this particular e-cig. Ok so I say well I need to coils that will work and ask if I could give this other ones back since I was sold the wrong ones TWICE, but nope not allowed. So now Ive probably paid double for a new e-cig and coils than I should have... not happy. I like the juice for the e-cigs I use which is why I haven't left but now again I went in today and loaded up because I received their "sale text". My order is over $100 and I noticed there wasn't the 20% discount their text said, the girl behind the counter got a little attitude with me saying "those are secret texts and I have to mention it to get the discount, ok well I was never told that but the chip on her shoulder wasn't needed, then I wanted to use my points, $25 bucks worth that I have been building... again the attitude "you can't do that your already getting the text discount" ok AGAIN THIS WAS NEVER TOLD TO ME, nor was I told when they took away all my points I had been building for a year when they changed their system but I guess that's ok. I'm the customer.... and I spend a good amount of money here, I don't think asking for decent customer service is a big ask! They have these vapor shops everywhere maybe it's time I start trying others out, which is a shame cause they used to be so great! read more

I have come here three times now. They have a very limited selection of batteries and each and every one of them are over priced. The first time I was there I didn't do the research that I should have and ended up buying a set of two EVOD batteries, Two EVOD heads and two bottles of ejuice for $117. When I got home and looked I found that same deal at other places for just over half of what I paid here. Admittedly this is my fault for not being properly educated on what I was getting, but I don't want anyone else to get screwed on there supplies. I went in a few days ago to see if maybe their prices for their other batteries were closer to what I should be paying. This time I did a little research and was prepared. I wanted to get an itaste MVP but they wanted $120 for their starter kit, so I asked how much it would be for just the battery and the guy told me $90. The itaste MVP at other places is only $37 for the kit. Now with that said they were giving me a nicer tank and 2 bottles of their juice, but there is no way that the tank and ejuice should cost anywhere near $80-90. This place is just a joke In response to one of the earlier reviews, they are adding an area where you can sit and vape with some chairs and a tv. (The only positive I can say about this place) I also saw that the owner himself responded to an earlier review about them keeping the ejuice for everyone to try covered, but like I said earlier I have been here 3 different times in the last 3 weeks and not once have I seen their sample ejuice covered. They are wide open for dust or what not to get in there. I can say without a doubt that I will NEVER be coming back here. I will drive the extra 15 min north to Wauconda to a new vapor store there. read more
