I have lived in my condo at Castle Villa Condos, in Castle Rock, Colorado, for 11 years. It was a pretty good place to live until about 4 years ago. At that time things started to change and not for the good. The last, however, topped off everyting else. On July 10 I received a letter from the HOA telling me that on August 10 I had to have a check to them in the amount of $5,307.75 as my share of the deductible for the roof being replaced. I am 85 years old, I am on oxygen 24/7, I have had a knee replaced, shoulder surgery twice and rotator cuff twice. I still take care of my self and even work a job (here at home) to supplement my Social Security. If I didn't work I'd be on welfare. All that being said, there is no way I can come up with that much money and I refuse to borrow and pay interest. My insurance now would cover something like this, but it was not in force at the time of the "event" June 8, 2019. That is when, we are told, that the wind had destroyed the roof. This place has taken it upon themselves to be a cheap as humanly possible. Someone in our area illegally dumped a grill directly in front of our house. They could have come to get the grill, but instead had the landscaper move the grill off the property therefore they don't have to deal with it. I'm still trying to figure out why they thought one house needed 3 hoas. All they do is suck you dry and provide zero benefits. Useless is word that comes to mind when I think of them. read more

Terrible service. The owner of the business, is a joke. She is not interested in solving problems. Gives lip service to clients and then does not follow through. The managers send violation notices (only if called in by someone who lives in the community) and then do not follow through to ensure the problem is resolved. Absolutely ZERO follow through. They claim they make regular inspections, but when asked for the reports, they don't exist. They claim they have a process, but no one employed at AdvancedHOA doesn't seem to follow--only if a board member or homeowner complains. You are paying for a service and the one thing they do is send out quarterly assessments. Everything else is CRAP. Pathetic token interest in solving problems. Only interested in collecting the check rather than serving customers as intended. Do NOT use this company if you need anything more than mailing assessments. NOTHING else they provide is worth anything. read more

I am so disappointed with the service we get. We have been without air conditioning for about 7 weeks now and I have been in constant contact with our property Manager Mel. He makes stuff up and tells out right liess doesn't follow through treats you as though you're bothering him when you ask questions. He doesn't seem to care that we don't have air conditioning. In the 6 weeks he's only sent out one broadcast notice asking people if their air conditioning is fixed. He's told me on two occasions I'm the only one complaining but when I speak to my neighbors everyone I spoke to (five of them) told me theirs is not working properly either. One of my neighbor said she won't even speak to him anymore because he treated her so disrespectfully. He has not been disrespectful to me but he just doesn't seem to get anything done. Constantly telling me he can't do anything until the board meeting or trying to put off as a homeowner's responsibility there is clearly something wrong with our air conditioning. Highly disappointed in their method of operation. I tried contacting his bosses by lodging a complaint but got an email back stating "Mel is a good guy I'm sure he's on it". I sent back one stating "Don't be so sure I'm really disappointed" I never heard back from them. read more

Advanced HOA Management is not a company to hire due to lack of professionalism and attitude. The owner is way too confident and will act as if she is the customer, even though you are paying her $xx,xxx a month. As you can imagine what flows downhill to her staff and the performance of the company as a whole. I am surprised the company is still around after seeing how it is run and lack of commitment to the homeowners that hired her, Judy. But as the customer we have options and highly do not recommend Advanced HOA service. read more

This has to be the worst HOA management company out there. They don't listen to the homeowner and don't follow the rules and regulations that are set by the bylaws. They allow homeowners to do whatever they want, park where they want even if it's a no parking zone. When they hire outside contractors they get the cheapest and least expensive and no experience contractors they can find and they never check the work when it's finished even if they say they will be there they don't show. They want your monthly dues on time but they sure don't want to do anything their supposed to do. The worst!!!!! read more

I can't speak as a homeowner. I worked for Advance HOA and from my experience, they do have the homeowners best interest in mind. That being said, the people that work there aren't always the most professional. Here's the thing, this place is run by a family. It's a husband and wife who own the company, and they have employed their children. So how qualified everyone is...? Who knows. I can tell you that they don't treat their employees great. The owner is pompous and cocky. She knows she's intimidating and "scary" and basically uses it to make sure people fear her. I'm not sure she even cared enough to remember my name because I hadn't earned her trust yet. The person I worked under was so far up her butt, there was no way I would ever make it in that company. I was made to look bad, I was not always paid for my work or my time, and I wasn't taken seriously as an employee. I was talked down to constantly, degraded in front of other employees and homeowners, and pretty much used as the messenger for bad news. I always looked like the jerk, when I was just doing what I was told to do. And I couldn't do anything about it, because the HR person is the owners daughter. The entire time I worked there I didn't feel like I had any training or support. So, in conclusion, given how horrible they are to employees I certainly wouldn't consider them as a management company or as an employer. Personally I think certain people were just threatened by me because I'm smart and purposely made me look bad for that reason. Well joke's on them. read more

I am a homeowner at the Fallingwater Condominiums, which is managed by Advanced Management HOA. There has been an ongoing electrical issue in my particular building which is in the process of being resolved between Xcel Energy, RD Electric & the HOA. I discovered that someone had unlawfully entered my unit (without permission, notice, or keys) through my sliding patio door to access my electrical panel. I had found the electrical panel (located in my laundry room) completely ajar and I can say with certainty that I did not open the panel on my own. Therefore, it had to have been some unknown person who is working on correcting the on-going electrical issue. When I called to report this concern to Keisha Washington, at Advance Management, she completely dismissed the issue. Before I could even finish explaining the situation, she cut me off and became very defensive. She was adamant that no one could have entered my unit, without even doing research on her end to verify with the other parties involved with the electrical situation. She offered no help, explanation, or reassurance that she would look into this issue. Her professionalism on this matter was absolutely disappointing. Instead of her showing concern, she mocked me & did not take my report seriously. Because the HOA expressed no concern for the matter, I contacted the Jefferson County Sheriff's office to report the incident. They validated my concerns & informed me this would be considered felony trespassing. I will be further looking into this matter myself, since the HOA has expressed they do not care that someone unlawfully entered my unit through my patio door. read more

Such a frustrating situation. This company took over for my old management company of my small vacation condo in Denver. They fail to send me a notification to my correct mailing address that was on file with the previous management company, don't call me, don't email me....nothing. They just tell me they sent out letters to the unit address, which I am rarely at, and they were all returned. Well obviously that is the case because I'm not there and have a different mailing address. I go to sell the home and they are attempting to put a lien on the property and charge me all kinds of late fees for NEVER LETTING ME KNOW. They actually had my correct mailing address and my correct phone number on file...but they only mailed the unit address...which is pointless and not how I directed communication to happen. Keisha said there's nothing they could do about the charges and the actions, even though I became current on my dues immediately about finding out about the change. I previously had my account set up on auto pay so I don't have to micro manage my management company. I have no problem paying my fees...I JUST NEED TO KNOW IF SOMETHING CHANGED! read more
