I guess I will be the first to write a review. This is the WORST bank I've ever been to in my life…read more I flew from Washington, DC to St Louis to get my grandfather's finances and such in order. He is 87 and his wife died a few years ago so he is solo. We want him to move with us but he was born and raised in St. Louis and refuses to leave. Anyway, I got to the bank with my uncle early Saturday morning. It was just me, him, 2 tellers, 2 "security", and Ms. Vivian M. Carbin. I have NEVER IN MY LIFE BEEN TREATED SO TERRIBLE! I told Ms. Carbin my situation and that I would use the power of attorney that I have to gain access to my grandfather's account. She gave me her card and said to give her a call later. Ummmm I flew out here for this. There is no later and although I didn't expect to everything done right then and there I did expect a bit more information on what the process of getting this done would be. Which is what I tried to relay to her. She then informed me in an extremely condescending tone that there was an emergency across the street that she needed to attend to. I am 34 but I often get mistaken for being in my mid-20s. So from the way she spoke to me I could tell she had mistaken me for a dumb child. I then asked her if she could not speak to me in that tone. I mean it wasn't just her tone it was also her body language. And then she did something that had it not been for me taking my anxiety medication I may have been in jail from what I would normally had done in that situation. She just turned around and walked away. After I got myself together I turned around and walked up to the teller. Now this building has acoustics like an old church. So when you speak it echos. I ask the teller if she can provide me the name and number of the manager of the building. She asked me in a very defensive like we on the street type of way to lower my voice. I stopped and looked at her in that WTF type of way. I turned around to see who else was in the building. Me and my uncle were the ONLY CUSTOMERS IN THE BUILDING. So at this point I snapped. I backed up and said in a loud voice there is no one else in here. I ask you 1 question and I get this. She eventually gives me the information and then I leave. I swear this was the worst experience of my life dealing with a place. Oh and then when I finally did get info on how to get access to my grandfather's account they said I would have to come back on monday, it was saturday, and sign the paperwork. Ummmm I'll be in DC on monday so then I asked if there was another way. Like say the internet. I was told again that I had to be physically there to sign the paper work. I would suggest that no one go to this bank. Don't put your money in here, don't let your family put your money in here. Because they seem to forget that we are the reason that they have a job in the first place!
