Advised me to obtain temporary housing during the repair project. After spending around ten thousand dollars for temporary housing, I was advised that I didn't have loss of use coverage. Bridgeman failed in their duties as my insurance company of which I've been a customer for 14 years. They told me it was my fault. I have stage 4 lung and liver cancer. This has added extreme stress to my life and is deleterious to my health. I would have never purchased homeowners insurance without a rider that would pay for loss of use. In summation I would not want this to happen to anyone. And I would never use Bridgeman insurance or Travelers insurance!

I canceled my insurance effective March 13, 2022 because of a high unjustified rate increase, but the company they had me set up with (Farmers), still debited the mo. premium from my checking account that month and consequently overdrew my account because it was not supposed to happen and I didn't have sufficient funds. While my premium has been refunded, my $15 overdraft fee has NOT. The Bridgeman agent keeps telling me they have been trying to get the money back from Farmers, but it has not happened. It's my opinion that the agent should have the common courtesy to refund the $15 and then get their money back from Farmers. Consequently, I do not think I can use this agent again if they cannot even afford to refund the overdraft fee. We wound up doing better in our own in the long run.

Even as a well-qualified buyer, I still had to jump through "the usual" underwriting hoops - proving I'm actually me, providing bank statements, explaining any rouge or incorrect entries on my credit reports, etc. Jeff forcast the process accurately, explained each step we took, and gracefully fielded a couple of my, "Are you SURE I'm getting the best rate?" calls. He showed up at closing, and followed up with written thank you!! (pictured) In today's electronic age, the time he invested and the in-person handshake definitely solidified my relationship with Jeff and FCB. I could sing Jeff's praises to the hills and beyond, but that may not ring your particular bell. So, what I will say is, "Don't get caught unprepared and loose out on your family's perfect property or home." Take that step. You will not regret choosing to contact or work with Jeff. I will be a repeat customer.
