We we got there and nobody was there to help us. We rang the bell and called the numbers on the building. One number...a lady answered and said if we didn't see a black truck parked near the house then the man running the show wasn't available. Truck was there...so I knocked and he came to the door only to tell me no fishing today. No smile. No explanation. Meanwhile, 2 other men showed up who had called Friday to make sure that they would be open on Sunday. They were told yes and had driven quite a long way only to be told...no fishing. We could not have been more disappointed. Although a beautiful spot...you need know in advance you can't count on them to be available. Maybe they should go back to providing stock fish for the DNR and hang up their hopes of running a respectable business.
