They were fast at first, but once the cleanup ended, the "reconstruction" phase became a nightmare. The Trap: They demanded a 70% deposit before they would even give me a quote, a timeline, or a walkthrough. The Fees: When I refused to pay for an invisible plan, they charged me massive cancellation feejust to walk away. The contract signed during the mitigation process gives them the ability to conduct your reconstruction on their timeline. The Threats: They claimed they could sue me for "lost profits" because I wouldn't agree to their unreasonable terms. They are great at the emergency part, but they use predatory contracts to lock you into expensive repairs. Get everything in writing before you sign a single page with this company. read more

Do not use!!!!!!! Unbelievably most dishonest, crooked and unreliable company I have ever been involved with. The lies of what was going to be done for the cost that we agreed on went on and on. We had a minor flood. It took nine months to get our repairs done, and then they were partially done, some incorrectly for the most part, with us doing a lot of the legwork, that was involved back-and-forth with other contractors etc. and then we were expected to pay. Advance restoration hooked up our refrigerator during the final stages of our job and left on a Friday afternoon and it flooded our brand new hardwood floor in our kitchen again and cause a mess in the lower level and then we were charged again for the dry out process for the second time when it was their mistake hooking up our refrigerator. We had to go through the whole process again and then we were charged. I could go on and on. From the beginning I was promised it would never be any out of pocket expenses, it was all insurance $$. then at the end when he would not pay our wood floor contractor we had to hire, he would not pay!! If anyone breached the contract it was advance restoration by not getting a tile guy and the wood floor guy, they didn't have any money, so they could not do that so we got a tile guy which he did not pay, we ended up paying the tile guy up front, and we got our own wood floor guy which he did not pay --- 90 days overdue we ended up paying him the money for the wood floor. We asked him to put it in writing that he would pay the woodfloor guy and that's when he became irathe with us and told us he was taking us to court and we breached the contract. Overall just such an awful company to work with. There is much much much more. Please do not use them. As you will be very very sad if you do. DISHONEST all around. The demolition guy hooked up the refrigerator and broke the water line reflooding our house, and he wants to charge us $7000 more dollars on top of the bill. So much more I cannot even post! We will be going to the better business bureau and speaking to all of the businesses in the area to make them aware of this company in the very near future. Super super sad and dishonest.. A pipe burst in my upstairs bathroom damaging the bathroom and first floor kitchen . Spencer's team (Advance Restoration) was on site an hour after our meeting. His team worked with purpose and efficiency being respectful to my home with a friendly, pleasant attitude. My house was secured, removing damaged materials and initiating the drying process that took about 3-4 days with oversight by the team. My floors were protected and the house left clean with all garbage removed from site. He also worked with the ins. co. providing all information. Working with a warm, friendly and professional team helped take me from a nightmare to a deep breath that I was in good hands. I would recommend Advance Restoration. Do not, under any circumstances or for any reasons, hire these people. They are not just unprofessional, but they endangered the lives of me and my family and caused health problems we'll probably see for years down the line. They came to fix multiple leaks that occurred because of another shoddy company, and not only did they not fix the leaks, the ripped out flooring and walls that were heavily and VISIBLY contaminated with mold, then blew industrial fans directly at these spots to "dry them out" which had the consequence of spreading the mold around my house. If you don't know, mold causes serious health problems such as cancer and mold sickness shortly after exposure is not a fun experience. I asked them multiple times if we had anything to worry about and every time they gave me a different lie. They lied about the black spots I was seeing on the ground, about the allergies I had suddenly incurred, even about the cost to have testing done in order to deter me. Mold remediation is expensive and hard, so instead of telling me the truth so we could have left our home which we eventually had to do, they lied so they would not legally have to do their jobs properly. I finally hired an outside mold inspector to get a real answer, because on top of being dangerously negligent they were deeply unprofessional and I didn't feel that I could trust them. This mold specialist told me not only was my home heavily inundated with mold, but that it was uninhabitable. We lost tens of thousands of dollars from moving costs, having to get rid of contaminated furniture, and hotel costs since we had to evacuate immediately. Again, this never would have happened if I hadn't had a hunch these guys were untrustworthy. They didn't follow anything resembling safety precautions, leading to greater contamination throughout my home than was even necessary. The mold specialist I hired to come test our mold levels even warned me that not only is this company infamously shady, if we were to file a lawsuit we would need to get in line.
