My child and I went in to be treated by Dr. April and we were very disappointed in our care. We were told on the phone the appointment would be about 2 hours to 90 min long for the two of us. They tested us lightly on what our allergies or intolerances were. But it all felt very rushed and quite expensive. I was not even treated at the end by the doctor but the assistant. We were in and out in under an hour. We went back in for a retest and both times followed all of their recommendations - Not to eat food for 3 hours afterward, we did our best not to overstimulate our system. We did not introduce the food until it had been 24 hours after treatment, we got a good nights rest, all of it. We are still not any better after having two treatments. I was also very put off by how often Dr. April talked about pricing. In my opinion they are very over priced especially for first time patients who have yet to see results. With our experience of feeling so rushed, spending $900 for a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes of care and having no positive results, I cannot recommend this business. read more

I cannot express how grateful my husband and I are to have found Dr. April when we did. Our only regret is that we didn't find Advanced Allergy Relief and Wellness center sooner. We brought our 18 month old daughter in after dealing with intense allergies for most her life. On top of allergies, she had severe reflux as well so we just never had time to really address everything. We were simply using "bandaids" to just survive. We finally had enough when our daughters entire body was head to toe with eczema that caused her to itch all over. I've had allergic reactions to water (particularly swimming pool water) since I was a little kid. I have tried just about everything to deal with the horrible reactions (hives and itching) that would last for days, but unfortunately got very little if any relief. I took my family here in a desperate attempt for better health. At the time we had 2 young children, and all of us were getting cold after cold, and we couldn't figure out what the reason was. At the end of our rope, and on a high recommendation from a friend, we decided to try them out thinking just maybe it was allergies. We were tested using their techniques, and they informed us we were all allergic to multiple things - dogs, cats, horses, trees, food, etc. Where I started to doubt their system is when it just so happened that the combination of allergies we each had couldn't be treated together and we had to have multiple visits. We spent close to $2,000 for the 4 of us after it was all said and done. We experienced no relief from our "allergies". They retested us, and we were supposedly "cured" of all our initial allergies, yet we felt the exact same. Red flags popped up during our friends "testimony" of their services. She told us her son was tested, and was allergic to water! She said they never noticed any side effect from water - but paid for treatment and this chiropractors "test" showed he was cured and they were ecstatic. I should have known then but we were desperate. I believe this place has no data to back up their claims. I wanted two different chiro's to test me to see if they both came up with the same allergies, but they would not (because that would expose their scam). My recommendation: don't but into their pseudo science, and if you are seeking allergy relief go somewhere else that is proven by more than anecdotal evidence. When I first went to Advanced Allergy Relief I was skeptical to say the least. A friend had told me about them and the amazing results they were seeing. I was going to another allergy treatment place and not seeing much happening. I was tired of getting shots for my allergies...which are numerous. I am so grateful I came across Dr. Maize. I repeatedly kept getting sick this year and eventually just thought this must be allergies. I had a phone consult with Dr. Maize who surly could have had me as a client but she was very honest with me and suggested getting an Epstein Barr virus test first. This may sound pretty basic but when I went to a traditional doctor I had a very bad experience and I was given a z-pack and sent on my way (which I had an awful reaction to). I am a now 23 year old graduate student and I spent the last year at Mayo clinic while they ran various tests on me and couldn't find anything wrong or any causes to my 24/7 nausea, my chronic headaches, indigestion, inability to eat, fainting, the list goes on and on. I used this center almost 10 years ago, when this treatment was fairly new and Dr Foster was just establishing this business. I was skeptical about spending the money but as a long term sufferer of allergies, I was desperate. I had a great experience w Dr Foster and the technician that did my treatments. How this place doesn't have 5 stars is BEYOND ME. This place has literally changed my life. For years I suffered with food allergies that caused extreme pain, nausea and extreme weight loss. It was later diagnosed by another doctor that I had a gluten intolerance and possibly Celiac Disease (it's a real thing, not just something people do to loose weight) I also have been lactose intolerant my whole life. So much so that my mother had to feed me lactose free formula as a baby! Like a lot of people, I was skeptical about something that claimed they could heal you of something you had been suffering all your life with but I figured it couldn't hurt. I freaking love this place!! I have searched for a long time to find a place that would help me with my severe arthritis and traumatic injury from an accident. I immediately felt relief in my lower back from a degenerative disc after doing The foot detox bath. My liver and digestive system is severely damaged from prednisone I have been on for 5 years. I've been told by doctors if I did not get off it soon I would be dead in 4 years or less. Yet there was nothing they could do to get me off. It depleted everything good in my body. Since I have started coming here I he been able to lower my dosage and I feel relief from the pain and withdrawals of the medications and arthritis. I went there a couple years ago and the whole staff was extremely friendly at first, according to this DC, I was allergic to almost everything and paid over 3K! for about 40 treatments, their testing said I was allergic to almost everything I was tested for and told they had to be done individually. To boot the chiropractor did muscle testing on me and said I had conditions that changed WEEKLY after using his supplements. I never got any relief from anything there. Since he insisted how effective the treatment is, he even claimed he cured his Celiac disease with it and eats wheat, should have been my red flag! So I asked that he redo them for the large sum of money I spent. He said the problem must be ME. I was told to leave and never come back. Stay away from the Predator on those seeking health.
