I am heartbroken by the treatment my kitten received at Advanced Animal Care. Our sphynx kitten had a leg condition, and instead of improving her situation, the staff made a devastating mistake. They improperly splinted her legs, which not only failed to help but caused irreparable damage. Due to their negligence, our kittens condition is to the point that she will have to have both of her back legs amputated tomorrow morning. we trusted this clinic to care for our kitten and provide professional treatment, but they failed her completely. what was supposed to be a minor issue turned into a lifelong disabili for our kitten, and we are devastated by the outcome. the lack of proper attention and skill in handling her case is unacceptable, and I would urge anyone seeking care for their pets to think twice before bringing them here!

Very caring and professional staff. Our 7 year old lab has been going here since he was 8 weeks old. I love how we receive follow uo calls.

This facility has the best staff. We have been with them for years. We did try others and none can compare.

That was my first problem. Second problem is, the word trim could be replaced with HACKING. Indiscriminately using clippers on her black nails, which is already dangerous because it's hard to tell where the quick is, and lo and behold she cut at least one too short. Immediately there was blood, which she tried to say was HERS!! She wouldn't have told me if I hadn't seen it myself! Third and final strike. I said we do them at home, we use grinders, and was being ignored while listening to commentary that they were practically grown into her feet (give me a break). I just wanted to get my dog back so I tried not to throw a fit and that was my subtle way of trying to say "we do them, you dont need to". I am horrified by the fact that if I hadn't seen the blood that she tried to hide, she wouldn't have told me. I am just shocked by the lack of respect, care, and transparency - I know mistakes happen, but this could have been avoided. If she'd had the respect to ask about performing additional services on my dog before just deciding to do them (would have said no), been mindful of taking small snips once she took it upon herself to just do things I hadn't asked for (or switched to a grinder - standard practice for dogs with black nails), and after making this unfortunate mistake she should have told me what she did instead of trying to lie about it!! Even just from a veterinary care standpoint, I NEED TO KNOW! What foot, what nail(s)!? We all should hope that this was just a little knick and my little senior lady doesn't go lame or you will be hearing from me again.

He also didn't seem like himself and was clearly off. It makes me concerned that the animals may be left alone for most of the day on weekends. We chose boarding so our dog wouldn't be alone, but his condition when he returned was upsetting. He even growled at us, which is completely out of character for him. In addition, he had sores that lead us to believe he may have been attacked by other dogs. It's very distressing to think that our well-cared-for, trained, and loved dog may not have been treated with the same level of care. To the owner, If animals are not being cared for properly, this is not the right line of work for you. The environment is also extremely loud, making it difficult to communicate with staff you can barely even say your pet's name and be heard. To other pet owners it would be best you find another place to take your pet.

My biggest concern was never just Bella's tooth. It was her weight loss, lack of energy, and…read moreoverall decline in health. I genuinely believed her dental disease was causing these symptoms, and as a pet owner, I trusted the veterinarian to determine whether there was something more serious going on. Bella barely ate because of her bad tooth, so I agreed to the dental procedure hoping it would help her regain weight and energy. Instead, her condition continued to worsen. Looking back, nearly all of the symptoms I was worried about were ultimately caused by a parasitic infection that another veterinarian later diagnosed and treated. What is frustrating is that I am not a veterinarian. I brought Bella in specifically because I did not know what was causing her symptoms. I trusted that a trained professional would investigate why my cat was losing weight and becoming lethargic. Instead, I was left believing her dental issues were the cause while the actual problem went untreated. When I finally sought care elsewhere, the parasite was identified and treated, and Bella improved. As a pet owner, it is difficult to understand how the symptoms that concerned me most were not recognized or investigated sooner. I don't expect perfection from any veterinarian, but I do expect a veterinarian to look beyond one problem and consider the whole animal. My experience left me feeling that Bella's declining condition was not taken seriously enough, and I hope other pet owners ask questions and seek a second opinion if they feel their concerns are not being addressed.

Noah was a bundle of chaos, and Saint was well-behaved but needed some fine-tuning. After the training, they're both so much more responsive, well-behaved, and just easier to handle--especially with our 1-year-old baby around. Their confidence and obedience skyrocketed, and we've never felt closer to them. Plus, we learned how to keep up the training at home, which was super helpful! Never thought I'd be able to walk these big boys off leash and have them heel at my side. Bella and Fernando were professional, patient, and clearly love what they do. They kept us in the loop and gave us the tools we needed for success. If you're considering training, DO IT--you won't regret it!

I've boarded my dog easily over a dozen times, and they make pick up & drop off so easy. Whether it's an overnight stay or two weeks, I feel comfortable knowing my dog is safe with Guiding Pets & Parents. Traveling without my dog can be so tough, but it makes me feel better when she's SO excited to see Fernando & Bella, sometimes she doesn't even look back at me. I definitely recommend!
