We sent our dogs, Saint (6-year-old Rottweiler) and Noah (3-year-old German Shepherd), through their 4-week off-leash/advanced training program, and WOW--what a transformation! Noah was a bundle of chaos, and Saint was well-behaved but needed some fine-tuning. After the training, they're both so much more responsive, well-behaved, and just easier to handle--especially with our 1-year-old baby around. Their confidence and obedience skyrocketed, and we've never felt closer to them. Plus, we learned how to keep up the training at home, which was super helpful! Never thought I'd be able to walk these big boys off leash and have them heel at my side. Bella and Fernando were professional, patient, and clearly love what they do. My German Shorthaired Pointer was known to jump fences and couldn't be trusted off leash. After a board and train with Fernando, my dog made incredible improvements. she now walks with me in town and is great on and off leash. I couldn't have imagined a better outcome! I've boarded my dog easily over a dozen times, and they make pick up & drop off so easy. Fernando and Izahbellah are both fantastic and we are super glad we had our pup trained with them versus the other trainers in the area. Not only were both Fernando and Izahbellah very competent at training, but they were very friendly and are clearly dog lovers themselves and they treated our pup as if it were their own and that was certainly appreciated on our end as our dog is very much like our child. We opted for the private lessons in our home so that we can get trained on how to train our pup where our dog's problematic behaviors exist. Especially outside where there are 1,000's of distractions for our dog. In the end, after four sessions in our home, our dog is much, much, better behaved and after some additional work on our end, we will be able to take our pup for walks which was not an option before as our dog pulls and over-reacts to all other dogs in the neighborhood and is overall very difficult. This is the BEST and I mean The BEST dog training school in Southern California! I took my Giant Schnauzer and Border Collie here for the two week train and board. The dogs when I dropped them off didn't even know how to sit, they barked at everyone that walked by when I was walking them. Now I can walk them anywhere off lease and they're unbothered. They stay by my side or stay where I place them until given the command that it is ok to leave that spot. Izabellah the trainer is amazing and would highly recommend. I worked with Bellah for about 3 months as she helped me train my young Dalmatian for his AKC CGC title. She is positive, makes training fun for both pet parent & dog. Moxie loved working with her. Bellah and Fernando are the most amazing trainers ever! Fernando and Bella are great!!! I love Guiding Pets & Parents. I strongly recommend them. I sent my 5 yr old Shih Tzu to them for two weeks. It was well worth the cost. My dog listens to me now, he comes, sits, lays down and he now loves his crate. We are working on potty training him to go in my back yard instead of the dog park. That is still a work in progress since he is 5 yrs old and VERY stubborn. That being said, they still text me with guidance, support, and encouragement. They trained me for 3 hrs in my home. I now follow that training. It's hard work but well worth it!!! When Rocky was with them, I received daily texts with updates and pictures. I feel like the texts were also training me. I was worried that his personality would change after he was with them; it didn't. He is still a little tough guy with an attitude but now he listens to me.
