I was immediately comfortable and confident that I had reached the right person . Step 1: He sent over a very detailed questionnaire, so he would know my dog before he met him. I did the 10 week at my home, which was most convenient for me. I would like to note that I travel and have a crazy schedule so we had to reschedule many times. I thank Roy for accommodating professional life. Step 2: our first in person visit Roy met Finn, my extremely rambunctious Australian shepherd/Shetland sheepdog, who loves to run out the front door and dash out into the desert, or bolt past me going down the stairs inside my house, almost sending me down the stairs . Little did I know training was as much for me, as it was for my dog. I learned so much about my dog and about me. Lots of things I thought were cute I have found are not so endearing I am still amazed. With every visit, I gained more insight and knowledge from Roy. Started out just leaving my house and working up and down my own Street. Step 3: moving from working in our neighborhood down to walking around at the park in the downtown area. Teaching Finn to sit at the corners before crossing, and not to chase after birds or other dogs. He no longer yanks on his leash. I am very grateful for the experience. I want to thank Roy from the bottom of my heart. Our lives have changed and are so much different, having a dog properly trained. Finn still has a long way to go, but I am willing to make the effort with the information Roy has given me to succeed. I plan on stopping in to his drop in classes in Kingman on Saturdays, because Finn's training will never be over, he is sly lol and he likes to get one up on me anytime he thinks I'm not paying attention. After all he is a smart dog! Roy travelled all the way from Kingman to Needles for our training, and I know he goes to Lake Havasu City and Bullhead and God knows where else If you are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced trainer, Roy is your guy . Thank you, Roy.

We were traveling in our RV and only had 4 weeks to work with Roy before we headed home. His training didn't require any gadgets which I truly appreciated because I am uncomfortable shocking my dog. She started with our sweet Daisy (who has since passed from old age), and the gentleness and patience she showed her set the bar impossibly high for any groomer to follow. She's also worked with Romeo -- our grumpy old man -- and somehow manages to get him looking sharp without stressing him out. Chloe, who is even older, has always been treated with the same level of care and respect. And Bella, who we lost last year, adored her spa days with Bree. Those memories mean a lot to us. Even though our dogs are short‑haired, we always choose the full spa treatment because Bree makes them look, feel, and smell incredible every time. She understands each dog's personality, their limits, and what makes them comfortable. Now we've added Great Danes to the mix, and they had their very first nail trim with Bree this past weekend. She handled those giant baby feet like a pro -- calm, confident, and patient. They walked out happy, not stressed, which says everything. I highly recommend The Altered Dog. Bree is skilled, compassionate, and truly gifted with dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. She's the kind of groomer you follow wherever she goes because you trust her with your animals like family.

Unprofessional Either the vet tech or the vet gave dangerous…read moreinformation! The emergency responder that returned my voicemail via text told me they would try to work my mare in on a Saturday for colic. This was about 0830, and eventually, after hours of texting & them waiting to tell me they couldn't come (8 hours later) I was instructed to take her to the Equine Hospital in Vegas, which we did. However, they stated that IM banamine was ok (it's NOT!) and frankly they should have suggested trailering her sooner. I doubt it would have changed the outcome (my mare had a bad small bowel impaction) but it was either a vet tech acting out of their scope of practice or a vet giving wrong info (regarding the Banamine) when they could have just said "give the IM liquid orally instead". And waiting from 8:30am until 4:30pm to suggest trailering her might have been something to recommend waaaaay earlier. Even if was just an upfront "Hay, don't expect me make it. Go ahead & trailer her to Vegas" would have been appreciated. Honestly, even without them being flaky, had they suggested I even consider taking her Vegas earlier in the day I would have immediately done so & had a good review to give here. I realize my mare was not established, but I also haven't experienced having a horse colicing before and needed straightforward answers & professional help. I did not receive that. Rather, poor communication & a delay in care. Again, i recognize that it's unlikely to have changed the outcome, but i would have been willing to establish my other mare there and respect them. But specifically about the Banamine, I did not believe I could trust them with my horses safety. I did post screenshots in order but it still mixed them up. They are time stamped though, so while difficult to follow, not impossible. Sorry yall.

There is also a Google Review in which Mrs. Wright did Respond in a matter to defend herself like she was on the Witness stand in a court room. Please Check that out: Screen Shot is attached, That review is what prompted this from me: Mrs. Wright, ( You don't hold the Moniker Dr. with me ) There is clearly a Communication breakdown between you and your staff. In different instances, you have been hard to get ahold which we had to physically come to your office to get what we needed. And when you say you called us back and it just rang with no voice mail... (Wrong answer)- All Cell phones go to voicemail, including Obama ones and the lowest cricket plan you can get. The Point is "It never went to Voicemail" is the oldest line in the book, And in bears death, this being a medical emergency this is 2024, even 911 will text you back- I'm just stating Facts,.... By the way the new excuse is "Voicemail is full" but its too late to back peddle on that now....Moving on..... The cold and callous remark from whatever candy striper in your office responded back: "Even if Bear passes at home, Still just bring him in". Of course this still would have been a two hundred dollar office visit, plus after care arrangements. With that said, I think its safe to say your more concerned about your tax bracket at the end of the month, Vs. Your bedside manner in a moment of a Grieving, family and their loss. Bear was 13 years old, He has been with us since he was a puppy. He was not just a pet, But he was a member of the family and for him to go like that.... I'm furious at you for that! And that will never change. The lack of care you guys have is at a biblical level. I'm sure you wont care what we have to write, actions speak so much louder than words. And this is tortiously round about. But I will leave things on this note... Sometimes, words do speak louder than actions, and a town this small, word travels fast. I have been reading more reviews on this site and it would appear that our family is not the only one that has had like run-ins with you and your "trained staff" as you put it. Your practice, Seems to be on a downward spiral. And I did see in your comments, that you were very quick to end care with our remaining companions. All snap judgements on your behalf with not even ..........ill wait .......c'mon......you know this one..... YES.... YES! a phone call.... The good ol' phone again..... Don't worry, we know... "Never went to Voice mail" right? -(However give her 1 star on a review and she responds before the ink dries)- We have spent years, and a lot of money with you, and we are tossed out like yesterdays newspaper. We are Grieving the loss of a family member, You have the compassion of a prison warden. Thanks again for that call. We appreciate you- Mrs. Wright, and the people that clock in there.... I want you to understand that I'm not mad at you for Bears Death. I am furious that no one in your office cares to do the right thing, EVEN when no one is looking. And that statement, I hope stings a bit, Because if anything comes out of this letter, I want every one In Kingman Arizona to know how you guys truly react when it really matters. You guys fell flat on your face- Nefarious!

Tammi and Bryan Thompson EPIC CON ARTIST!…read more If I could have put zero stars I would. Google Tammi and Bryan Thompson. They have switched dog businesses many times and now have a NONPROFIT for Veterans called Shaw's Veterans Ranch or H.M. Shaw's Transition Facility. I am writing the review here because 1)Their nonprofit is not listed on yelp 2)Their Dog business now named ;Igy6 (Whoodle.world) is connected to the nonprofit & 3) I put a review on their Facebook which they immediately disabled to ensure it wouldn't be seen. I am a retired, disabled veteran and have many accolades and experience in management and social work. I love working for nonprofits and have always given back. I volunteered at their nonprofit for 8 months full time after quitting a paying job on the pretense that I would be helping Veterans and she (Tammi) would one day put in grants to get the team (and me) paid a salary. Tammi asked me to be the face of the ranch because I was a veteran and loved speaking, she asked me to be her assistant executive director, and on the board of directors. I agreed, because I believed in the mission to help my fellow brothers and sisters. Now during this time, I informed this CEO (Tammi) and her husband Bryan (Secretary and CEO) that it was vital to have the executive leadership conduct training and be on the same page. To have meetings, go over financials etc.... pretty simple stuff right?!? I even paid out of pocket for training, and multiple things because to me it was extremely IMPORTANT. Along the first few months, Tammi mentioned multiple times that she was taking classes to stay in compliance with the 501(c)3 (I have this in texts) as well as paying 501 fees (also in texts). Now I didn't know any better but assumed she was handling the business side... while I networked... raised A LOT of money... promoted the business, did research, gathered sponsors, gathered donations, went and spoke to clients, did case management, coordinated care (list goes on). Later I found out 501(c)3's do not have ongoing fees and/or courses to stay in compliance (just one of the many lies). After a large fundraiser and many times of pushing the CEO (Tammi) for vital business information, and where the money went... I got kickback. I also got slowly pushed out of the office and told to stay home. I also was not told of what was going on with plans. The lying, and red flags kept stacking. Fast forward to today. Why am I writing this? Because I was never shown financials, never included like a BOD should be and when asked about these items... she told me I had no right, it was her nonprofit and not mine. Where did $11k go?! Nothing of importance was accomplished for the mission?! She bought some paint for a wall, food for volunteers, some fruit trees, and a few tools for the greenhouse. But that is not $11k. I never saw anything bought specifically for veterans, or the mission.... only donations & items were bought for their Ranch (where veterans cannot get to) and for her own home because she lives on the Ranch itself. I never saw one dog from her ;Igy6 business go to a veteran (which she states 1 out of each litter will go). Not ONE in 8 months!!! Now she could prove me wrong, show the financials and manage the business properly but instead she threw a fit... and acted shady. Then when I posted the review on her Facebook, same thing. (See pictures) She immediately shuts down the Facebook page. Is this why she has so many dog business pages?!? I don't recommend ever giving these people money... because what I saw in 8 months was that the 11k PLUS AND what they make on dogs ($1,200 to $2,500 per dog) goes to their home, maybe a new RV, random organic food for the dogs/chickens, misters for the dogs & chickens, an awning for the dogs, decorating their yard, 3 dog runs, eating out daily, and who knows what else. Could I be wrong? Absolutely... but there are a lot of holes. Too many to put here. Unless I'm missing something, which I hope I am.... there are some serious disconnects. I would challenge you to ask for their financials before donating a dime to their nonprofit or buying a dog from them!! Challenge them... make them earn it. Because from what I've seen, ANYONE who challenges them... gets blocked, and dropped at a dime. Tooooo shady!
