Mike answered the phone, listened to the issue and executed in a timely and reasonably priced manner, just as advertised. That means a lot when you are in a tough spot. I had brakes replaced at dealership. Rotor was out of round but problem did not happen until car had been driven on highway for a while. I took it to the dealer (still under warranty) explained problem. I was told there was nothing wrong with brakes. So I drove it until it got really bad, but decided not to bother with dealer (work was still under warranty) and I took the car to K & N because I knew the owner would listen and believe me, which he did, and he fixed the problem,

I pulled over and tried to fix it myself, but I was still four hours from my destination, it was getting dark, and as a young woman traveling alone, I was honestly scared. I arrived at Odessa Muffler and Brake right at closing time, expecting to be turned away. But instead, they greeted me with warmth and didn't hesitate to help. They stopped what they were doing and got to work on my car immediately; no questions asked, no judgment, just kindness. They spent an entire hour after closing carefully securing my bumper, checking my whole vehicle to make sure it was safe, and even discovered and fixed my muffler that was hanging off (which I had no idea about!). When I asked how much it would cost, they told me it was free. That kind of generosity is so rare, especially when they easily could have taken advantage of my situation. I didn't have much money, and this trip was an emergency, but because of them, I made it safely to El Paso and was able to spend precious time with my uncle before he passed the very next day. Their kindness meant the world to me, and I will never forget it. Odessa Muffler and Brake didn't just fix my car; they made it possible for me to say goodbye to someone I loved. I contacted the mobile shop at 9 PM on a Saturday night requesting a service call. They immediately drove 25 miles to meet my daughters and evaluate What was wrong with the car. The person I spoke to quoted me $150 for a service call and told me that if the car needed to be towed, there would be no additional charge. I was very surprised with the fair pricing given the predatory Environment in most towing businesses. when they arrived, they told me that the radiator had a crack and it would need to be replaced. He gave me a very fair quote for the repair and told me that he would tow the car back to the shop and wait for parts. On Monday he contacted my daughters letting them know that he was trying to get the car done by 6 PM so they would have it back. my daughter's contacted me at around 10 PM Monday morning, letting me know that he had driven the car back to UTPB and was downstairs. He provided me with a link to pay for the repairs and the quote that he gave me was exactly what he charged me in the transaction. I would highly recommend this service and will give them a five out of five for customer service, price, integrity, and quality of repair. Even though I was five hours away in Dallas, he made no attempt to "up charge "or unfairly charge me for the work performed. He even gave my daughters. The paperwork for a warranty on the replaced radiator. I am very pleased!

Told me he had an engine ready for my suv over amonth ago and that was the last I heard from him, my ins was ready to pay but he never contacted them. Then today a tow truck shows up and drops it off in front of my house and said the ins didn't want to pay. My ins had the check ready and I had my deductable ready to but, at least i know where my suv is now. All he had to do was call and say he couldn't fix it and not waste my time. On to the next shop.

Told me that they may be able to get to it in a day or two and that was if they even decided that they would do it. I paid for a service and it wasn't completed correctly. My issue should have been resolved immediately.
