How does that happen! Hopefully, the owner will acknowledge their mistake and resolve it.....after spending almost $5,000 there this month! The owner, Robbie, worked with us and we were able to come to an agreement. BMW being fixed today, and Robbie was very apologetic and takes his family owned business very seriously. Happy we were able to fix the communication problems and I plan on continue using their services. I recommend supporting locally owned businesses in our community and I hope to be a returning customer for the next several years to come. Hard to find trustworthy auto repair shops. I appreciate and respect Robbie's willingness to resolve the communication issue.

I first called to ask for a quote for a specific repair job for a specific car. They would not provide a quote over the phone as a couple of other shops did. They insisted I bring the car in for diagnosis, so at the appointed time I showed up with the car. After three hours of waiting, they provided a quote for the service I asked for that was ~50% higher than the next closest quote. They also did a 'courtesy inspection' which I did not ask for. This inspection resulted in 7 additional recommended items totaling about $1,800. Things like this fluid change, that cleaning, etc. The car has 300k miles on it, and the majority of these items have never been done. The experience reminds me of the slick marketing we get at the dealership repair shops, and is exactly what I was hoping to avoid by choosing a 'family-owned' shop. The actual work product may in fact be excellent; I don't know. But it is probably over priced.

Took it to Central Florida Diesel Performance they ran test on it and said it needed high pressure fuel pump, alternator, and a couple of other things along with fixing A/C they did all this for half the price Ford wanted, the Truck runs like new put over a 1000 miles sense they fixed it Central Florida Diesel Performance is the only place we will take our Diesel Trucks. While looking at it, Stephanie offered to get the body guy (Larry from TLM Auto Repair next door) to look at my front passenger door which hasn't opened since my car was hit a few years ago. Larry came over, fixed the passenger door in 20 seconds, and wouldn't let me pay him ("It only took a minute..."). Unbelievable. Then the mechanic from Knucklebusters took my car for a spin, and checked all the things that have to do with steering, and found nothing wrong. He also didn't charge me ("I didn't find anything to fix..."). When was the last time I walked out of an auto repair place paying nothing? (I'll give you a hint, it's never...). These people are honest and seem to really enjoy helping people. I think if you have had bad experiences at other places, you should come here and enjoy being helped by this shop. Most wouldn't "touch" the roof to repair. A few would and I got estimates and had discussions, Bavarian included. They were super friendly and helpful with confirming the issue. When it was realized the parts had to be ordered from Germany and would take four weeks to arrive, the others bailed out and wouldn't take the job. Which was fine with me in the end because I had a good feeling about Bavarian! Fixing the convertible is a tricky task and I wanted to ensure I picked the right place.
