The guy at BJs said there was a slow leak and recommended we go to Discount Tire, where they usually patch it for free or cheap compared to BJ's prices. So, we went there and told the guy, Jon that a patch was needed. Jon didn't even bring a spray bottle to check for a leak. He immediately started saying how she needed new tires, claiming the tread was horrible. She told him she didn't have the money for new tires at the moment we're just broke college students trying to get a patch. He made it sound like we wouldn't be able to drive away without new tires. He refused to patch the tire. We basically went there for no reason. We went back to BJ's, and they said Jon was lying. They also told us that she had about 10,000 more miles on her tires.

They are always so friendly when I call, taking the anxiety out of calling to schedule appointments or ask questions. They also give full reports for what you might need to be on the lookout for in the future, including a color coded grade of how big of an issue it is and when it might be a priority. We have really appreciated their service and look forward to using them in the future.

Most places don't offer this service anymore due because they don't want to be responsible if something were to happen and it wasn't a tire they provided you. But this place worked with me and was happy to put the tires on and balance them. The 2nd time I had to get a used tire and luckily they had my size for a Dodge Challenger, and it was a good brand. I had continentals and the 1 used tire they had was a Kumho. The tire had lots of thread and it was a good deal they gave me. I refer to the Advance Auto Parts store on 600 Barnes Blvd. On the evening of 8 March 2024, I discovered that one of my tires had been punctured. The manager and his assistant, Kevon (unsure of spelling) assisted me in examining the problem, suggested a tow service, and a tire service. They allowed me to park my car in the handicap space overnight (I have a handicap tag), this way I would not damage the wheel by driving on a flat tire. Later, Kevon informed me he was off the clock and gave me a lift so that I would not be stranded overnight. This was not a service provided by Advance Auto Parts and was purely the judgment call of the employee. This generosity should be rewarded. We switched to texting, and within 30 minutes, he confirmed my tire size and arranged to meet me at the Melbourne Porsche dealership (where a trucking company had dropped me off). Less than an hour later, he arrived and had me back on the road in just 10 minutes. Fast, efficient, and professional. My only regret is not having my original tire repaired--it was newer and in better shape, but that's on me! The $250 fee felt totally fair given the urgency and convenience. The next day, I reached out to see if I could get my old tire back. He was incredibly helpful and even sourced the same tire within three days. The inside of the place was clean and spacious, and I watched an episode of friends while I waited. Switching tires to a new wheels should not have taken over 2 hours. What is the point of making appointments? I can't leave and stuck here and no one give me update unless I ask.
