We went through every obstacle together and every little milestone together , the program focuses on your child's individual needs and addresses their concerns, there is no judgment in this community on your child's behavior ! I went to inquire about enrolling my child into this school and received very rude treatment from…read morethe front office (Cassandra). I was completely turned off by her unprofessionalism, lack of eye contact, and the way she treats children. The front desk/office is the face of an establishment, the representation of what is the come. After talking with different parents I came to found out the following: * HIGH turnaround on teachers/staff. * The area is bad. * Homeless are constantly within feet of the school and the police don't always clear them out in the mornings. * Restrictions on taking your own child out of school during after hours!? * Over capacity of students. Most often times they need to eat lunch in their classrooms. *During the summer, the air conditioners don't always work, and the children are forced to eat outside with no shade. *Every year, at least 1 teacher leaves the school. Sometimes mid-year! Do yourself a huge favor and do your due diligence. Talk to other parents there and drive around during business hours and you can see it all for yourself.

She unfortunately left so he was placed with someone different. He only lasted 3 weeks before I decided to pull him. First week with her he was fine. The next two he repeatedly told me he didn't want to go anymore. And that he wanted a new "teacher". Well his last day I witnessed abuse. My child dropped a mask on the ground when he saw her approaching. I asked him to pick up and he refused. She grabbed him from underneath his arms and plopped him on his butt as if he was a rag doll. Very forcefully had him pick up the mask by hand over hand. Then scooped him back up. He was crying and crying. I was so shocked and it made me realize why he suddenly didn't want to come anymore. To this day I regret how I reacted-or should I say didn't react, but I was so dumbfounded by it. Again it's been a little over a year since this happened. The company is friendly, caring, professional and most of all knowledgeable. They work closely with the family to develop programs specific to my son's individual needs and the needs of the family. Anyone living with children or other family members with autism know that there is not a quick fix and that there will be ups and downs in therapy and as your child/family member grows up. Your child can't travel or leave the area over holidays. Forget being ill, even though there's strict rules to protect the staff and other children about the symptoms they can have and what you need to bring them back and you are staying away for everyone's good. It is such an incredible stressor constantly worrying about losing those hard to get afterschool slots while also dealing with health issues and the complexities of a child who needs several therapies. I am not seeing any improvement in my son to keep dealing with this stress. If I can't find another therapy center close by, I will teach him to zip his zippers at home and schedule him activities he actually enjoys that will incorporate the skill building he needs. And the front office staff is rude, the back office people clearly don't talk and consult with eachother, because I was told it was fine when I cancelled after him throwing up three times on the way to therapy and then got a call the next day that he'd be dropped from the schedule with no additional warning and plan for makeups once he improved. And lobby always smells like diaper shit; I can barely stand to sit in there. Good riddance.

I enrolled with Mission Career College on August 7 and was scheduled to begin classes at the San…read moreBernardino campus on August 31. On August 26, I called the school specifically to confirm the start date, class hours, and lunch schedule. During that conversation, I was not informed that the class had been canceled or that there were any issues with the scheduled start date. When I arrived at the San Bernardino campus on August 31, the building was closed, the lights were off, and no staff members were present. There was also a Southern California Edison "Final Call" notice posted on the door regarding the electric service. I have included a photo of the notice with this review. Seeing an electric-service notice posted on the door of a career college where I was supposed to begin my education was very concerning. Combined with the canceled class and lack of communication, it made me seriously question the reliability and credibility of the school and whether I could depend on the program remaining available long enough for me to complete my training. Because I had received no notification explaining the situation, I drove to the Riverside campus, where I originally enrolled and completed my assessment. Staff there informed me that someone should have contacted me to let me know the San Bernardino class had been canceled. I was also told that the San Bernardino location may be shutting down and that there may be a night class at the Riverside campus toward the end of September if enough students enroll. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled. I had been enrolled since August 7 and had already waited nearly a month for the program to begin. More importantly, I personally contacted the school only five days before my scheduled start date to verify the class information. Despite that, I was given no indication that the class would not be taking place. There is also an issue involving my workers' compensation education vouchers. The vouchers were returned to me, but I was informed that they had already been submitted for payment. I now have to contact my workers' compensation administrator to make sure payment is not processed so that I can use my vouchers toward a program at another school. I understand that classes can be canceled and circumstances can change. However, I believe an enrolled student should be notified promptly--especially when that student specifically calls days beforehand to confirm the class. Finding out that my class had been canceled only after arriving at a closed campus, seeing an electric-service notice on the door, and then having to drive to another campus to obtain an explanation was extremely disappointing. It has delayed my education and created an additional issue involving my workers' compensation funding. Based on my experience, I would recommend that prospective students get their enrollment information, class start date, and funding status in writing and verify everything before making plans around a scheduled program and continuously verify that your classes is scheduled to start.

I've been to the RAM many times and it's a small art museum in Downtown Riverside. The Cheech…read moreMuseum is one stop light up and a larger museum. If you purchase a ticket to the Cheech, the RAM is included in your ticket price, or if you start at the RAM, the Cheech will be included that day. I came to the RAM this time around, specifically, for the 60 Miles East exhibit. This exhibit ends on 4/12, so make sure to swing by before then if you want to catch it. The exhibit contained many flyers, pictures, art, and even ticket stubs that brought me back to my childhood. It was in a clean and open space that made the experience enjoyable. This exhibit takes up only one room and there are other spaces to check out for additional art exhibits. I did notice less art, this time around, than in previous visits and many open spaces/walls were not taken up. Overall, I'm glad I got to enjoy this exhibit, before it ends, and it really highlights the Inland Empire's music scene as an important piece of diverse culture. Enjoy!

What stood out just as much as the artwork was the building itself, which is beautiful and full of character. I especially loved the courtyard, which provided a peaceful space to slow down and take everything in. The gift shop was also excellent, with a great selection of unique items that felt carefully chosen rather than generic museum souvenirs. Between the art, architecture, and atmosphere, it was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon appreciating creativity in a truly beautiful setting.

I really like that aspect but I feel the app has so much more potential perhaps with time they will use it more. The center has also recently done sone remodeling like updating the flooring. My son I can tell likes his teachers a lot and they seem like they genuinely care about him and all the other children. I really like that they share pictures of some of the activities they do with the kids. I look forward to those pictures and getting the Picasso art pieces.
