Horrible place to go to if you need any dental good work. The people in there are lazy af! The receptionist that look Russian don't even be in the front desk, she be talking to her coworkers or on her phone that's one. The dentist she asks you to book a next appointment for any little thing when it could be done in the same appointment . Literally got a cleaning and asked for a fill on ONE TOOTH & she said next month appointment lol. The office is usually empty so I don't understand why they take long and when booking an appointment it's a month or two away. It gives they don't even want to be there, so why keep this practice even open. I've read the previous bad reviews and still try to give them the benefit of the doubt by still checking them out. Oh and lastly they don't even answer the phone and they always rescheduling your appointments cause the dentist always has an emergency. Never coming back here AGAIN! read more

Horrible clinic and the front desk is very rude and disrespectful! They offer no help and they cancel your appointments whenever they feel like it with even calling you! Update: After I complained about bad experiences with clinic constantly cancelling my appointments, they apologized repeatedly, and moving forward, I saw great improvement. I now receive calls and text regarding my upcoming appointments and so far, no cancellations. Staffs are always friendly. I am happy and satisfied and would recommend this clinic. read more

My daughter had to have a filling for a tooth. I thought I was going to be late and miss it, but I was glad they had a 15-minute grace period because other dentist clinics do not have a grace period. They were careful and understanding along the way with my daughter. read more

For procedures for children, they need Nitrous gas which is not free, the Patient needs to pay. The cost is very high $225.00. Management should reduce the fees for Nitrous gas. (Advanced Bronx Dental). read more

My 3 year old daughter was referred here for surgery and the level of care was honestly phenomenal. They were the only ones who were able to actually get X-rays of her mouth by making her laugh but the doctor also got to clean her teeth and prep her for the surgery all while keeping her calm. They are super nice here and are worth the 2 hour drive. I was very nervous at first, but the way they cared for my daughter was very settling. read more

Sad to say the location of this establishment speaks for itself. Had an appointment with my nephew who go called in after waiting an hour and twenty minutes I go check on him they just say him sitting there the entire time. (My nephew is 14 years old) While waiting I overheard one of the dental associates tell the front desk lady three kids were coming in from whom ever else. She told the dental associate absolutely not they will have to wait after these first to patients. Nop once I walked to the back I saw them taking care of these kids that have priority for whatever reason and can't wait like the rest of us. I wanna believe because around this area there is not other close orthodontist that is why so many people go there but to wait to be seen is ridiculous my question is why the always overbooking so many people for one day if they only have one orthodontist? And they make patients wait for 3 hours for a regular check out for a monthly appointment. My brother goes there because he only have 3 month and he finish but me I was there for only 3 month and I change in another orthodontist office somewhere when people are very nice and with a big waiting area where they are professional and they respect so people if you think to make appt for the firts time in this locations plz save your time and your money! read more

I had a very horrible experience at this location. I went in to get a tooth removed and I was told I needed to pay 65 bucks for the oral surgery. I paid my money and proceeded to wait 3 hours to be seen. Once I was seen, the dentist told me he couldn't remove the tooth because he wanted to have a additional scan. I was fine with that however, I wanted a refund because I didn't receive the service I paid for. I was then told the 65 bucks was for a co-pay. My actual receipt stated oral surgery. When I said what my receipt said the receptionist asked for my receipt back so they can change what I paid for. This place is very unprofessional and a huge rip off.... Please don't go here... I wasted my money and time... two things I can never get back read more

This place is the worse. I would NOT ever step foot in the place again. I should have know by the look of the area that this place would be horrible. I allow these animals to pull four of my daughter's wisdom teeth and what they did is inhuman. They did not properly sedate her like they said they would and put her to sleep so she wouldn't feel anything instead they only put a mild sedative through an IV and pull all four teeth while awake. My daughter was screaming for her life and all that animal dentist did was yell at for her to stop screaming. If I could shut that place down I would. And to charge me a co-pay of $65 supposedly that my insurance required is completely wrong. I should have done my research better. I hope who ever reads this review would run the other way. The staff here is always extremely unprofessional and completely discriminatory. I watched an African muslim woman be told that she can not go to the back with her 5 year old, but then the dentist proceeded to return to the front twice to ask the mother questions about her daughter. I'm not sure what kind of information they expected to receive from a 5 year old. I was seen by the doctors immediately. All the workers were super friendly especially the assistants, who guided me step by step on the procedures. They made sure I know what was going on 100% of the time. The doctor was very informative and made everything less painful. I was out of the door in less than half an hour. AND STILL IN PAIN!!! insane! they over book so much the line was out the door!!!, They just let you sit there and wait with no consideration what so EVER of telling you how long it will be, knowing you can't eat or drink 5 hours prior to procedure. My appointment was changed to the next day because the one and only surgeon decided to not come in. I came in the next day, still in pain. Waited and waited. The doctor was some young guy who looked like he just got out of school and he spoke like an uninterested diva. I asked him to please put me to sleep but instead they gave me local anesthesia that took forever to work. As I got a little sleepy, they started to pull. Hi Andrew, not sure who you are and I don't really care. I called and spoke with the staff on 3 separate occasions and informed them I have HMO coverage and not PPO. I asked them if they take that version and I was told yes. My insurance also has advanced dental as in network, but informed me to check to see if they accept the HMO version. When I get there after waiting for almost 2 hours they called the insurance to verify if they were in network. I was then told that only the PPO version was taken. I specified up front all of my insurance information and was told no problem we accept that. I shouldn't have to drive 1 hour and then wait 2 to then find out I won't be covered. It is the job of your office to give the correct information and verify before I make the trip. I can't verify as I don't work there and the insurance company has you as part of the network. That was why I called and verified before I even set the appointment. read more

I went in for a full on make over about a year and 4 months ago and I am still waiting to be done with the process. I have absolutely NO problem with my doc, Adam Brisman. He did a wonderful job making the procedure as painless as possible. My problem with this place is the office itself. It doesn't matter if you are paying alot out of pocket for most of what is being done, you get the same treatment as anyone else who wanders in. They ALWAYS overbook, they will waste well over 2 hrs. of your time sitting in a hot, stuffy, crowded office waiting to be seen. At times, they will have you re-book the appointment for the next day due to overbooking. This does not work for people who take time off work to be turned away through no fault of their own. I was given an appointment at least twice in the span of 6 months to show up to an office that was CLOSED with NO phone call advising that you should re-schedule. The communication is terrible and I've been known to waste anywhere from a few hours of work time to an entire day off to show up at the Bronx location to have NOTHING done due to miscommunication. Other than the procedure itself, it would be pretty hard to recommend this place to anyone. read more

My initial interaction with the receptionist was cold and unwelcoming but I figured they must be good since my dentist recommended them so I made an appointment. NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME!!!!!! No!...No!!...NO!!! The Willis Avenue office -------NOOOOOOOOOOO! If I could give them MINUS 5 stars I would. I arrived at 10:15 am for an 11am appointment. Huh! (I should have shown up the day before and camped outside the door.) Before I went, I called the office told them that I was concerned about the bad reviews. They said, "What bad reviews, that could not be them because they specialize, it had to be a different dental office that got those reviews". (Yeah right!) Then I specifically told them that I had another doctor's appointment the same day at 2 pm and they assured me that I would be able to make it in time. Lies all lies. When I got there people were standing around, the 12 chairs were filled, people were perched on the radiator, people were standing inside and outside the door fuming and cussing with good reason. One lady said she was there from 9am and still had not been seen. I was not seen until 1:15 pm and since a root canal takes about 45 minutes that was it. Needless to say I missed my other appointment. Three (3) hours waiting around to see a dentist. Ugh! Never, ever, again! The dentist was good, no problem there, it was the most pain-free root canal that I have ever had. But the management of this office is horrible! Double booking happens now and again in some medical offices but the dentist mentioned that they usually quadruple-book! 4 patients in one time slot!!!! Outrageous! Unheard of!!! I also understand that their Scarsdale office is worse. So much for trying a different location. UPDATE: So it had been 7 days since my root canal and they still have not sent my x-rays over to my regular dentist's office. The other appointments that I had scheduled this week for gum preparation and post work for a crown have had to be cancelled. I have called to request the x-rays, my regular dentist had called for the x-rays. Nothing doing, nothing sent!!!!! I called again this morning and they put me on hold then they hung up on me. Whaa??? And so it goes...business as usual. I will contact my union and suggest that they drop this dental practice. read more

Was told that I would have braces in and out in 1 year. If you pay out of pocket, beware; It is going on 3 years. For some reason if you have been to different locations, they do not have all of your files in one, but they would have to scatter all over the place to find it or else they think that you started your treatment one month ago when it has been three years. The ortho can be disrespectful at times. When one doctor informed me to tell her that I had an overbite, she responded *with a condescending attitude**"what's wrong with an overbite?" My bottom teeth were pretty much straightened out by the old doctor who was an Indian man that used to work there, and he gave me 3-4 months of finishing treatment. After he resigned, the female doctor returned again and the bottom row once again became unaligned and when I made note on that, she responded *condescending tone* "what's wrong with your teeth being like that?" It has now been a little over a year since he left and now my top row is misaligned and she said that she can't fix it. You go there thinking it's cheap so you might as well, but they have different motives, plus you get what you paid for. And it's small and overcrowded so if you don't have a seat, you will stand for hours or until someone gets up & you can beat the next person to get there. This is a warning: Don't go there. read more
