If you're using Delta Dental (DC-37) don't bother. I wouldn't agree to laser deep cleaning or dental bone graft for dental implant because as a government employee working during the current shutdown I can't afford the expense. They refused to extract the tooth that is causing me pain, instead they referred me out to a dentist who doesn't accept Delta Dental. So I called out of work for nothing. Dr. Gandhi and her staff have changed my life. Ever since I was a little girl, I was TERRIFIED of dentist. Just being in the waiting area, I would shake, sweat and my face would flush. It became so bad, my parents had to "lure" me in to a dental office. Before I knew it I was in that chair, screaming and crying. Now that I am much more older, there's no more luring me in to a dental office. Dr. Gandhi understood me and even noticed herself how nervous I was. I came in on a Friday and she gave me the rest of the weekend to relax, calm down and mentally prepare for root canals and fillings that had to be taken care of. I was surprised because usually dentist, well in my experience want to start doing work right there and then. Wouldn't even give me time to relax. My first root canal I was still nervous. For no reason though because it went quickly and PAIN FREE! I even gave Dr. Gandhi a hug after because it was literally an amazing experience for me. I see patients that keep complaining about the wait but you need to understand that I rather her take her time with each patient then to rush us up on out of there. read more

The Office manager was not only rude but lied to me. I made a complaint about a $150 bill by the dentist that my issuance was supposed to pay. I called the insurance and they said they would pay it. The dentist's office said the issuance would not pay for it. They rather I paid. They refused to see me until I paid so I file a complaint and won. When I called to make an appointment the Office manager told me that they actually won the complaint. So I called the insurance company and the dentist's office had them on a joint call. The insurance company confirmed that the dentist's office lied while on the phone with them. The insurance company and I heard the dentist in the background get upset. So she got on the phone and refuse to see me anymore. This after I already told them I no longer wanted to be there. I also recommended that you watch out with this office as they will charge you $30 cancellation fees. I got charged because they said they text me and I didn't let them know I canceled. I read the reviews on Google and on this site. They simply are not true. I was there for a cleaning and would have kept her had I not had the experience which seems to be the trend among doctors and dentist. You are just another charge and next. The office was almost empty, it was just me and another patient. Her staff was friendly. One in particular was helping me get ready for DDS Gandhi, but she kept 90% of her focusing on the soap opera on the screen rather then what she was doing. I lasted longer with this staff member than dentist. The dentist cleaned my teeth and did not cleaned them all and kept insisting to come back in 6 months for the next cleaning. I stumbled into the nearest dentist office in pain...and to my pleasant surprise, I found a true perfectionist..

I was there like a week ago and I'm giving 2 stars and only because the woman at the front desk I dealt with and the dental assistant that were both super nice. Dr. Ghandi was not there. I'm assuming she was at the other location so that meant another dentist was there which I don't even recall getting his name now that I think about it or I just blocked it out. He seemed nice but he was quick and just seemed to want to get it over with. My older daughter was nervous but dealt with him and finished and was out. She usually waits with me while my younger daughter is busy but she left to wait out in the waiting area, so that told me something. My younger daughter wasn't nervous and ended up crying. He hurt her while he was cleaning her teeth. She's never complained about it hurting when she brushes but yet she had tears streaming down her little face. Needless to say it pissed me off and as soon as we walked out of the office my kids asked if I can take them somewhere else next time. I'm really unset about this. I was also hoping Dr. Ghandi would've been there. She just seems to be nice but I should've known it was too good to be true. Another thing I can't stand is when they call you and you end up in an open area. Why do I have to see some random girl getting her teeth cleaned? No private room(s). Boils down to staff being super nice and the dentist just was... Whatever. I'm just really upset that I left pissed off and that I'm leaving a crap review but I'm honest. My experience with Dr. Gandhi was phenomenon. Her gentle care, superb skill, warm bedside manner and years of experience put you at ease...so much so you don't even realize you're at the dentist! She explains all the procedures very patiently and takes her time treating each patient as if she's the only one. The office is meticulous and efficient, wait time is under five minutes and support staff is kind, helpful and considerate. If I could give them 6 stars, it wouldn't be overstating the case.By far the best in the Bronx...she deserves the award she received. The office is clean with an ADA restroom, which I appreciated because I use a walker. Her reception staff was friendly but pleasantly professional. The dental hygienist was gentle and explained what she was going to do, which put me at ease. She did a great job cleaning my teeth, they feel great. Dr. Ghandi was attentive and warm.
