Minor fender bender and the first quote was $3500, outrageous. Once they "got in there... more damage" now we are at $5300. By the time this job is complete I'm sure we will owe over $6k for something most other shops would've charged around $1500 for. It's one thing to price gauge insurance or large fleet companies. No need to price gauge honest working people. Shame on McCarty's.

We stopped at 2 different RV repair shops in Ukiah. Both of them listened to our problems and then said that the earliest they could fit us in would be in three months. LOL. The last place suggested we check out NCD Painting, which also services RVs and Heavy Equipment. We pulled in, met Pete Moyer who also listened to our tale of woe. He then called over Sean, and they both began figuring out what needed to be fixed. I was expecting Pete to tell me to come back in 2 months; but no, they immediately began working on the van. They fixed the leak in our water filter. Then they tackled our gray water problem. They worked on it for 2 hours and fixed our problems and sent us on our way.
